From North River hotel, when you say its a trek, how much/far in cab?

Almost def going to book that for me and Rach, hope the other brit boys are up for it.

The Chaos Cup is held out in the west suburbs about 30 miles from downtown where your hotel is at.

A cab could do it in about 45 minutes. I have never taken one that far a distance before so I'm not sure on the cost.

If you rent a car, you'll want to get on the Eisenhower expressway (I-290) and take it West until you will see an exit for I-88 and take that West and exit Highland I believe will take you right near the plaza with the GW Battle Bunker. It's on the right (north) side of the street. There is a Toys R Us, Best Buy, Office Max, Sports Authority all in the same plaza. The bunker is tucked behind the Office Max. They do have a sign that says GAMES WORKSHOP on the outside finally.

In the parking lot there is a Portillo's restarant. Make sure to get a juicy Italian Beef before you leave!

Well I can can get 2 rooms with two double beds in each at the Holiday Inn for $1098 Wednesday too Monday.

That works out as approx £137.25 each guys, any good?

Good shout on the Holiday Inn, but as OMM says probably best for the Fri/Sat/Sun (seeing as how the daily trek won't be far!!)

For the Tues/Weds/Thurs I'd prefer to be somewhere more social (downtown/wherever Rache..., sorry Leo's stopping

)

I think OMM meant he would only be there for the weekend. For what you will pay for staying downtown, it will be alot cheaper to just stay at the HI and get a cab.
