The mark of Chaos
Moderator: TFF Mods
Yeah, its a hard call on the extra cost for the Mark, its sorta justified because the 'Boon' actually increases the chances that the CW will get the neg-trait for the game (1 in 3 each time a 6 is rolled) but you are right in that most of the bonus skills are traits. Another way to do it might be keeping the Chaos Warriors as 100,000gp and standard, and making the Mark an optional +20,000gp upgrade (bonus side-effect of allowing people to play a Chaos Undivided team).

New lists? argh.....
why not just theme the skills you want on your warriors?
Foul appearance for Nurgle, Frenzy fo Khorne, Hypnotic Gaze for Slaanesh, Big Hand for Tzeentch.
Alternatively "one chaos Warrior may be upgraded to a champion of chaos at a cost of 30K"
Or something like that...I dunno...I still think the Chaos Pact roster has possibilities.

New board, old faces?
Oh, hey Maq! I just didn't make the connection between Marcus and Maquis o_0 Yeah, its been awhile since PBBL, wouldn't mind opening it up again to play around with miscellanous LRB stuff, but the BBIRC coaches seem to be in love with their 3rd edition for some reason.
As an aside, Joz is doing alright, though he's mired pretty deep in final year so I don't see much of him these days. How's London? My sister's over there at the moment trying to get sponsorship for residency.

Online LRB Leagues?
Do any of the online LRB leagues use the BBIRC client? Most of them that I've seen use the JavaBowl or PBEM clients, I'd rather the BBIRC.

don't see why javabowl is far better apart from the missing skills.
apart from the problems i had with the chat in bbirc its not the most user friendly and games take ages compared to javabowl
Only reason i wouldn't use javabowl is if i wasn't playing with the living rulebook (but why would i want to do that ;])
So no don't know of any bbirc leagues playing lrb
