Could you recommend any places to stay Gav? Somewhere within crawling distance from the venue preferably?

I've turned down my cousin's hastily planned wedding in August now for the Newquay Bowl, how about that? No, she does not know what I plan instead.

Oh fudge. Work and my finances are conspiring to make this not happen  I will try (last year was a fantastic tourney & boozathon!), but it's not looking good at the moment. Sorry Gav :(

Er...
I've just realised there are no trains to Newquay. Well there is one (singular) and it takes 14 hours and lands me in Newquay on the Saturday morning, then there are no more trains in or out until Monday.

Anyone going down got a spare seat? Please?

Edit: I found one now returning Sundays but it does not help it leaves at 16:00.

Odium - what about flying? It's only about £30 e/way from Manchester to Newquay airport and a lot quicker than 14 hours!! Do Leeds do one?

Thanks, Lu. I'll look into that one. Still up for mooching a car seat if any northerners go down though...
