Custom pitches would be cool - I'd be tempted to commission someone to make unique pitches for each of the teams in my league if I hadn't had problems doing the same with painting.
If you have a particular design/style of a board I can put one together for you. Would cost a bit more as I would have alot of extra work creating it. But I would be keen to discuss further, I am already doing one for Thrudbowl

I do not have a proper 7s pitch made up, but I may well do one later in the year, I have several new projects in my head.

OK, so I understand the folding board one, but the tube one, what is it mounted on? Is it just paper? Could it be laminated and then rolled?

What I meant was just the plain printed pitch. They could be laminated. have yet to find a cheap laminator though. If people don't want the folding pitch, they can have the print out on its own

I'd be interested in a £25 pitch.

Cheers Hoomin. Is there a time limit on being in on the initial pitch? I'm consulting the artistic types in my group at the moment - being artistic they're not that prompt.

It's something to think about, happy to discuss at some stage. There are a lot of us and my ideal would be to have a pitch each so it'd be something to develop over time.

Sorry mbe, you might have missed my post.
Do you have the original psd layers available for these rather funky pitches?

Unfortunately these finished files are in the range of 600-700mb each. I don't really want to make my printing files generally available. Lo-res pitches are free for download and most of the layers were made very easily using photoshop. I can give you some pointers, but I just don't want to give the whole lot away. Sorry.

Hey MBE, is the board hard-wearing, especially at the fold points?

Also is it possible to have the top surface laminated and still have it attached to the foldable backing?

thanks :)

I have no regular BB club at the moment so my pitch has not had much use. I had it printed on thick art paper 175 gsm and the backing board is thicker than that of an official BB board. I don't know how it will stand up to time.

The printer I am using does not seem to offer a laminating option. It would also probably make it harder to fold. You could probably stick sticky-back plastic over the front if you wanted extra protection.

Yup, i'd agree with MBE.

If you want it laminated, i'd go the route of that plastic book covering you can get, and just very carefully put it on yerself. I think hte Laminate will make it a bit to think to fold.

You mentioned making custom pitches, do you have a rough idea what that would cost? Also would you handle getting it printed up or would it just be a file that you could send me and I can get it printed myself?
