Can't remember if this was the same community hall as last year, doesn't sound like it, but could be wrong. Is this a bigger place than the one last year? I'm assuming so as you mentioned the first 40 coaches to register get free dice. I'm glad you're being optiomistic about the amount of coaches coming to this, but I think GenCon is the only NA tourney that comes close to getting 40 coaches. Don't get me wrong, I hope you get 40 coaches, that would just require getting alot of NA coaches coming to this who don't usually spend money to travel long distances for a tourney.
Good luck in attracting alot of the out of towners, it would be nice to see alot of new faces there (as well as all the usual faces)

No, Torg, it's not the same place as last year. Bummer...that hall we used last year was right close to Sentry Box :smoking:

Oh well, at least we now have a place to go to! :D Now to inform the rest of the Howling Fury Football League! BWAH-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAAAA!!! Like I said, we'll be bringing probably around 8 guys, myself included. This one's gonna be GOOD!

I'm really going to try to get some of the other people from the GROTS gaming club to come down this time, so hopefully it will be more than just me from Red Deer this time.

I just had a read through of the spike tournament posting on th abbba site.
It mentions the LRB 4.0 and 2005 BBRC review as the ruleset being used.
Is this a typo? If not why not LRB 5.0 and boo!!

I think the LRB 4.0 +2005 Rules Review is a typo Father. Because down below it ... all it mentions are the LRB 5.0 rules.

I'm quite certain this is a typo as we are using the LRB 5.0 in the league. I'll see if it can be updated.

Is the Player Advancement section under the Tournies link clear to everyone? I think this could be reworded to be a little clearer...

anyhow, hope to see everyone there!

regards,
Trob.

Figured it was a typo. If I had actually read the entire thing I probably would have figured that out

Just letting those know who are coming form out of province/country
The rooms that we have sponsored for that purpose must be booked by June 1, 2007

Therefore if you are coming from out of province please forward your registration
That can be found on the abbba website prior to that date.

www.abbba.org

Everyone else just to remind you it’s $30.00 CND by May 31 or $40.00 at the door.

The trophy is on route, the prizes are in hand - Who's coming?

Any questions please drop a line.

HHHHHEEEEEEYYYYYY BLOOD BOWL FANS !!!!!!!

The Spike trophy has now arrived in Calgary. We at AbBBA are really psyched up about this sexy piece of cast iron. It truely does pay hommage to the carnage we are about to inflict upon the Blood Bowl pitch.

We still have spaces available and anyone who preregisters does so at a discount.

Looking forward to seeing all you in Calgary the July long weekend.
