Looks like I'll be able to make this one. I'm assuming there's still room? Let me know and I'll get my cheque off ASAP.
Cheers

Yeah there's still room. Great to have you on board!

Been living on Aigburth for just a few days now. Seems a nice area despite the students

Ok, so if i bring skinks along as a test for stuntycup, are we going with :

a) All skinks
b) Skinks + 1 Krox

IMO, Skinks (8237) are hardly comparable with halflings (5236) with or without a krox.

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when they find out, you're a mile away...... and you have their shoes.

True, though there again they are the same at dodging, ball handling and blocking as other stunties, the same armour as goblins and only +2 move on goblins for an extra 20K. Without the ability to field "supporting" models, I think an all Stink team is about as effective at the game as Hoomin is at [insert own pun here]. With the addition of a Krox, you're then asking whether 1 x Big Guy + 10 fast tackle zones is better than 2 x Big Guys + 9 cheaper tackle zones with secret weapon access. I'm not sure there's that much in it to be honest and would like to see Krox + Skink given a go to test them.

If I didn't have the Halflings finished I'd probably do it myself for Monkeybowl. Or if you're feeling up for a challenge Geggster then I can always lend you the team and see how you do with them.....? ;-) Could you do better than Hoomin? (rhetorical question: could you do worse?  )

Not sure about the skink option for stunty cup. Ask Levinas if it's ok as it the stunty cup is his concept.

IMO skinks are too good...

Not talking about them actually being IN the stunty cup, but using them as a test bed for future stunty cups.

Thanks for the confidence boost geoff :P

Agreed, but it would be nice to see how they would perform.

Any thoughts on that offer, Geggster?? Are you up for a little challenge to find out how tough a Skink + Krox team is/isn't??

I'm still debating over whether I can get to this one. Does anyone have any idea how long it'll take me to drive to Hartlepool from York on the Saturday morning. The trains between the two aren't great...
