Nice going jelmer, tho i think the basing may let them down a bit.

Unless the photo's are just not showing the bases correctly.

You think this is too much or too little? Personally I dont think painting is really valued as much as it should be, even if you look at the other thread where peop say they despise painting

Hour for each mini to paint at min wage... Â£90

So it should be valued at least at Â£130, Â£100 is a bargain tbh... dont forget the assembling... which is brutal

I agree with Rob here. While it's not an expert degree of painting, it is a lot higher than the average standard.

Personally I think it's crazy when a 16 man team painted by a decent painter goes for less than Â£150.

But then again, people honestly undervalue the time and skill involved in painting. That's why I decided not to paint for commissions, it works out at about 1/4 of my normal hourly wage. I might as well do overtime instead.

As for the auction, only things wrong with it is it could do with 1 more skeleton and the bases are rather lackluster.

Well, for a new team on commission I would agree. This team is second hand and used though (as most teams on ebay) which drops the price considerably.
I do think 100 pounds is fair as it is painted pretty good (I'v seen it IRL a couple of times).

And I thought i did a good job on those... the bases were to look like sand and i agree they might not have turned out as i saw it in my head.

Might have been better to paint the base a sandy brown first, and then highlight the sand afterwards.

I think it is a great team... i'm very sorry to have to let it go, but i won't be using it much, and i could use the money very well... i think Zinak did a great job on the painting!
