Attic Clear Out By 'Old' Gamer

Post by Squigs Ghost »

My parents are making me clear out their attic of all my old stuff which happens to include a boxed styrofoam BB set and all my figures.

I dont have that many, but one thing I do have is some based snotlings (four square bases with 5 on each, painted) and 14 loose ones.

They are the original lead ones ( I think) with the circular nubs on the bottom for mounting on stands.

I haven't played for years, and I was wondering if they may be either collectable or desireable.

I've just seen two loose ones on E-bay currently at £6.50!

I'm not a money grabber, but I really have no idea what I have!

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards to all and thankyou for having me,

Squigs Ghost

Cheers Dave,

Now I just need to identify which ones they are and ask that immortal question - does it matter if they are kind of half painted etc?

I never was very good at leaving things alone when I was a kid and other than the two sets of based snots, the others aren't that clever. Come to think of it, I can't even say the others are that clever, but that's just a critical opinion.

Hit the email button below this post and drop me a note with your email address. I'll send you a sheet I made up with the differences of the snots to help you identify them.

I just sold my set of snots too so I may be interested in them... Why do I do this to myself???

Spotted your list of differences on the snotlings thread, but I also spotted a picture of them all with the numbers. Can I find it now? Not likely!

Will mail you in a min if you can drop me that list of yours in an E-Mail.

This place is really friendly,

Cheers :)

Got Some Help!

Post by Squigs Ghost »

OK, found the picture, and in no particular order I would appear to have:

#22
#21
#2
#12 X 4
#17
#28
#15 or 25 -may have been squashed!

UNGHH GW88 (or so it says) Like #18, but not.

2 which I am failing to identify:

One looks like he's about to dive off something,

The other has a hammer in his left hand at his feet.

On the two bases:

Base 1 - 24, 10, 3, 1 & 26

Base 2 - 3, 4, 7, 14, 26 & 28

Last not not least I have one kneeling down with something in his hands and looks like the imprint on the bottom is GW 85.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Cheers all,

Squigs.

The unidentified snotlings are just GW standard ones. You will be lucky to get 50p a snotling for these. Its the Blood bowl ones that go for more. I sell them at £2.49-£2.99 when I can get them in (they sell out the same day usually) But I agree on E-bay they go silly.

Your looking at the guy that sold 3 snotlings to the USA for £36 each a couple of years ago (start price 50p) Madness! :P
