The CARROT CRUNCH- Ipswich 7th/8th july 2007
I am pleased to announce that the Carrot Crunch will be held in Ipswich on the weekend of the 7th and 8th of July.It will be a 7 game resurection style swiss tourney.
Where is it
The Rampant Horse pub station yard Needham market, Needham market is a small old market town 5 miles outside of Ipswich just off the A14 and about 1 1/2 hours on the train from London. The Rampant horse is an old coaching inn on the junction of station yard and Coddenham road about 50 metres from Needham station and 2 mins drive from the A14.
cost?
We are working on a price of £22 naf, £25 non naf this will include lunch on both days.
rules
The rules cane be found here tjhey are akin to the budget bowl that we held last year, for those of you who did'nt attend: TV110 (you may buy 1 "normal" skill for any of your players at 50,000 gps per skill these players are then considered to have peaked)
Full lrb5 (possibly including on roster inducements)
7 games swiss style
a full rules pack to follow in due course
All the glittering prizes
The 1st 50 entires (if we get that many) will recieve a Very limited edition impact miniature (note this miniature is limited to 160 not the usual 200 and will only be available at the carrot crunch and the Skull cup in Spain)
full prize support is also offered from Tritex games

I tell you something that it does clash with.... the Tour de France.
Not sure who else would be going, but the Tour for the first time in its history starts in London (on the Saturday) and I, for one, would love to see it in my home town.
If the 7th/8th is dead-set, I doubt I will be there, but if indeed it does clash with Tulips and therefore moved, then I would love to come along.

Hi there,
Thanks for marking me as interested will def come for the carrot crunch.
I was wondering if when you find the venue could you tell me of any local BB/Hotels (or even if the venue itself offers rooms) in the area because im planning to stay there instead of commutin 150 miles there and back everyday.
