Just saying hi

Post by jonbeav »

Hello all, BB noob here. I actually used to paint miniatures back in the day (TSR miniatures) and then stopped. I got interested in starting again. So I visited a general hobby store, and saw Warhammer models. So I did some googling and eBay-ing, and holy fudge :P I came across Blood Bowl on ebay!
I remember wanting that game when I was a little tyke, during the Hero Quest days (didn't know they were same company back then).
So I just got 3rd edition still shrinkwrapped and can't wait to start painting again. I'll probably go with the smaller field and 7-a-side for playing though. Not looking for games lasting 2+ hours.
But thought I'd say hi!

I just stopped by there the other day for the first time to pick up some White Dwarf mags (to see what's out there these days). It's funny, We have a HobbyTown USA or whatever they're called and I was so disappointed by the selection, then I stumbled on the Adventurer's Guild, and it's only like 5 minutes from my house!

Welcome to the game.

If you want the latest version of the rules, you can get them at www.specialist-games.com. It is called LRB5.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
