Troll 3?

Does anyone have it for sale/trade?

On how much does troll 3 usually sell for?

Just so I know, in case I go hunting for it.

There's a recaster around selling them for 15 Euro or so. Find him.

I think I know who the recaster is, but I've contacted him via ebay, and he sternly denies being a recaster, even though he's sold several troll 3s over the last few months.

Maybe I just rubbed him the wrong way

HELLO!!! If you want one you don't call up and say, "Hey, are you a recaster?" You say, "Have you another Troll 3 you'd like to sell? I can wait till you cast him up."

Yeah, that's because you folks take this whole recasting issue not serious anymore. I gues this is the only GW-mini related board where folks openly admit to look for and buy recasts. Try this at places like "yahoo group: collecting citadel minis" and you get flocked and instantly banned.

Remember my words when you meet soon a 12-year, pimply faced kid at a tourney that fields an Ogre team full of Troll#3s "I got them from ebay for 10 US$, isn't these nice Ogres? Just too small but I couldn't afford the new, big ones Mister".

I don't think anyone openly admitted to looking for recasts. That there happen to have recently been some Troll3 recasts floating around is common knowlege. You can either let it eat you up or try and have fun with it. Me? I don't take this stuff so seriously anymore.

Hi all,
for the record, I'm not one of those that see GW as an evil empire that must be cheated if at all possible.
So, I'm 100% against recasting available miniatures.

But with minis no longer for sale, and with no chance of going back into production, I guess I can't see the harm. GW certainly ain't losing money from it.

why get in a huff about recasts? i really don't get it. a troll #3 is'nt a rare painting or vintage baseball card.
