Not being a collector, I've a neutral view on recasting, especially stuff that's out of print (and not likely to be put back if production) IF it's made clear it's not an original. Paying top money for an item that's not what it claims to be is wrong though, and I understand why people get p*ssed off.
Recasting stuff that's available now is plain wrong though (especially from the small indie makers).

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Hi all,
he just sold another one. This one went for around 25£.
I talked to the seller in question, and he told me that the 3 he sold as a batch were for 20£ - not 10£.
He also asked me to convey this message to you all:
Anyway to put the record straight, these miniatures are genuine 'Games Workshop' stock. All of my minatures were bought either through the high street store or via my friend who worked there at the time. The 9 Bloodbowl Ogres were bought for a project that never happened and were put away into store as a financial investment. I have literally hundreds of 'out of production' miniatures and boxed sets and would gladly send you some photos if your interested or if you think its too good to be true! These trolls might be quite rare now but they were not when i bought them!
Out of the 9 in my possesion, only 3 remain so once their gone, their gone! If you would kindly give me the website address where you got this information i would be happy to answer any questions or missunderstandings, or if you prefer you could republish this message yourself. I have absolutely nothing to hide.
Many thanks, Chris.
Cheers
