Help running Java Bbowl online

Post by Anonymous »

Please. I have Java Bbowl installed and it runs fine when I play it on my own with the pre-loaded teams. But I cannot get it to run online vs. anyone from the FUMBBL site or play with any of my own teams that I created on the site. I was walked through everything step by step on how to join games, but everytime I hit the join game button, it would say "Unknown Host." A moderator on the site said it was probably my firewall. So I went and set my Windows XP firewall to allow Java, but I still can't join a game. Any advice?

Get a better firewall, the XP one sucks.

As for the Javabowl issue, you're honetly better off asking, as you have down, on the FUMBBL site, they're much more likely to have seen the problem before, and have a solution.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
