Tritex. It's Valens call, but I hope you agree he has to make a call knowing all the facts. I'm not trying to rob you of anything. All I want is that this game ends in a fair way, and I'm sure Valen will agree on that point.

Fact is that rewinding the game as you did (and as Valen indeed told you to do) will not change any dice rolls you made, so the outcome of a win is logical, because you got the SAME dice.

Playing over a part of the game, wouldn't you agree that it would be more fair to throw new dice? With a chance of failure?

Well to be honest I still think I won fair & square the first time. As I suggested I had not typed blitz in the box for any match whilst playing PBEM (Torsten has not asked me to do this for 16 turns either) and this was a fair move that I made but I agreed to follow through what Valen proposed, rewound and played it out, there was a chance dice rolls would not be the same (No one on forum was certain) so I ran the risk - I suceeded again playing it as instructed and think its only fair that I get to claim the win!

No there was no such chance. You because you did not know that the diceset would be the same does not mean the could have been the same. They most definatly could not. They are fixed and that is CERTAIN.

Nazgit also mentioned this and advised to REPLACE the figs and I agreed with him. Then you would have had NEW dice, dice that were not rolled before.

Again, if Valen decides the way you played it is ok, then that's fine by me. All I want is that Valen get's to see what happens the way he ruled it now.

And tbh, I guess we both got him hiding for fear!

No fear mate

Ok, I misunderstood, I thought the game log rewind would change the dice, so I would go with the suggestion made by Nazgit and Draco, place the guys on the field manually to represent the positions they were in and then replay from there. Sorry for the mix up, wasnt sure on the way the toll worked.

Well I still think I am being cheated of my win here but lets see what 'Karma' has to offer. I always abide by a judges decision so re-set my players up and played the same again - both his guys have gone down again and I have ball again but little chance of scoring!

Guess what - as suggested my first attempt at dodging failed as usual so am expecting the worst again! I just want to get this game over now as its fast becoming no fun.

Tritex,

for future reference I advise you to read through the text at the following link. (In my last post I adviced Musta to reword blitz, pass and foul, because you should declare first and then select a player!)

I hope this helps you, because this is the way Pbem should be played.

Glad it worked out for you Tritex.

Too bad you have Darkson in your team as well! You won't stand a chance in the finals!

Really? Your post here could suggest that Dave, DrCraq and Tritek are in the same team.

I know I get mixed up easily because of age, but what's your excuse when you're sober?

.......Oh your already out!! :?:

Oh well maybe next year!! :smoking:

(for thise not ofay with the term 'Dis' - 'Dis' is a shortened version of 'Directional Insultative Suggestion' fondly empowered by those who seek to belittle/ humiliate and stupendigate (not sure if thats a word but sound good) it is directly opposed by the term Sid meaning 'Sincerely Impressionable Dedication' or a complemnent' ......Just for reference)

Just wondering: did you send the file with what you explained above, yet? I have only received the file where you have rewound, but not reset the players
