I have the "Snow" material from Woodland Scenics. Here's a CoolMiniOrNot article describing making snow bases with it, and another CMoN article here that describes making snow effects with bicarbonate of soda.

I really like the GW snow flock.
Which is strange for me since most of my painting and modeling stuff is anything but GW.

My understanding from discussion on other miniatures boards is that GW Snow is essentially the same as the Woodland Scenics -- only half the amount for twice the price. Haven't done any side-by-side comparisons myself, though.

No! How could you accuse GW of such a practise? :pissed:

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
