Despite the poor results I had a good time. Excellent venue, good weather and a lot of nice people. Shame our performance was as bad as the food :D

As an explanation for our performance, it was just not our tournament, I guess. Sqar can't play Norse, Ray-Me had a broken line-up and I think Milo will never touch Chaos Dwarves again!

Anyway, many of were close to get the last half point needed to pass the wooden spoon to Austria.

Have the stories of the attempted assassination of the NAF president already surfaced?

thanks for this great weekend. I've never had that much bad luck in 6 games but I've never had more fun at a tourney whenever I wasn't sitting in front of f the board

Ehm... I would like to apologize (sp?) for my not-too-good tournament score... 1 draw, 5 losses... Suffice to say that I will go to more tournaments the coming time, just to get in more games.
And, Orcs are NOT really my choice for a tournament but I guess it was either that or amazons, wich I havent played much at the moment.

I really had a great time though, nice opponents (French guys threatning me to burn my car), ehm...food , great venue, so just a good time overall. Now if I could just win a few more games though...

Thumbs up to the organisers for giving all the players a wonderfull tournament. APPLAUSE !!!!

What can I add. A great tournament it was with many old and also some new faces, I enjoyed it so much that I almost played 24 hours a day. About the Dutch results, for the most part simply bad vibes but that's part of the game. I lost 4, draw 1 and won 1 (against Italy) Next time the only dust we will bite will be the sand of Bologna(Ihope)

Big compliments to the organizers of the tournament!!!
It was a great weekend with lot of fun. :D

Next year we will sacrifice a virgin (dice  ) to Nuffle in order to get rid of our bad luck.
It was really terrible how our whole team suffered during the first rounds ... but big thanks to all members who never gave up and never surrendered! :D

In particular I found it great as all contestants at the end of this hard fought tournament still applaused each other. That is the right spirit!

So also my congrats for the Organization, especially the beamer, Laptop combination was a tense increasing trick at its best.

Who might get the Wooden Spoon is not importent, only who walked away with it in the last. :-)

Because Austria is a "real" Blood Bowl Nation, not like Belgium. Not my words but they harrassed the Austrians the first 4 games. Until the order from the team Captain came: Beat the netherlands, get freedom, forget pinky and the brain, CORDOBA!!!!! :P :D

And then England get in our way and got smashed the Austrian way. 8)
"I werd narrisch!!!!!"
And Austria was save once again.

Congrats Italy!

And the Austrians are eager to show next year the rest what a beaten team can achieve just by the will "to not" be the last. :-)

lol after our mare of a saturday, we pulled our socks up and went for it on the sunday

thought at one point it may have been us coming last rather than the 3rd place we managed to scrape together

Hey! It's not because our little country couldn't make it this time that we aren't a true blood bowl nation. Hell and eternal damnation to whoever said this !!
