Its a fine defence - just rubbish against one turners that need to have the opposition in the right place to get the numbers for the final couple of pushes..

Might be constructive to let people know the best set up to counter the 'push-play'.

EG:

Set up 3 men a square behind your LOS (which too should be 1 square spaced apart) whilst still having tacke zones covering the full width of the pitch at the back (this is still ineffective against leap but its more rolls they have to succeed in order to pull of the push play)

Set your back line up 2 or 3 squares in front of the End zone to maximise required dice rolls (maximum dodges and gfis to score)

If you have enough tacklers, make sure that the holes of the backward-set screen (all hopefully covered by tackle zones) are covered with Tackle too, to negate that dodge skill.

Sure theres more i havent put down here, but this is just off the top of my head.

I actually think the best defence against push one turners is to make the pushing more difficult.

Something like the "A-frame defence" is harder to get the necessary push backs and seems to work well.

Yeah but then you have to pray they dont hit Quick Snap on the Kick Off table. I prefer the option of a deep set screen in case of the worst, maybe a bit further in from the end zone (not in blitz range though, obviously) to protect against Injury Time possibles as well.

Surely setting all of your players up on the LoS would counter these tactics.

I realise it's not wise for a league but on eighth turn 2 half Tourney game (where your players are all ok for the next game) or a 100pt friendly what do you care if all your guys get splatted?
