Ehmmm, Nuffle is the god/creator of Bloodbowl. Name kinda derived from the way you would say N.F.L. (if you took the initials as all spelling one word.) Some people take him/it very seriously. You can sometimes tell from their sig how they feel about this.

Best to do what the rest of us do - Back away from them while not making eye contact. Make gentle "coo-ing" noises too! It seems to pacify them

Maybe you got the wrong idea, I know who Nuffle is, I just wondered what would lead people into becomming slathering Nuffle hating heretics - thought it might be a forum (in)joke with a bit of history or funny fluff websites or whatnot...

Now I geddit, that's pretty funny stuff. I'm not sure if I want to convert just yet, although one of my gutter runners failed to dodge 3 turns in a row the other day, thats ag4 with dodge re-rolls!!!

Hmm,

We need to start up the Nuffle Association of Polytheists (NAP). The blasphemers just haven't found the *right* Nuffle for them yet. There is the Great Nuffle of course, but also every league, stadium, team, booster club, and sports bar has its own Nuffle.
