Norse ... have you played in an LRB 4.0 tournament with the new Star Prices? Because the last Blood Bowl if memory serves was not played with LRB 4.0.

You are entirely allowed to believe the rules are crap ... just wondered if you were doing from experience or opinion.

maybe you're right Tom.. I haven't played with or against stars in a while now, so my hang-ups are all probably out of date... I still feel they have no place in a tourney at any price, but that is a personal hatred of GW trying to sell special models by giving them uber-skills..

use whatever rule-set you like, me Dave and Jason will whip up some serious pain with anyone...

Cocky crap

I think at those prices no one is going to ba able to field star apart from the stunties so I think we will go with option 2 and let them all have them if they want, but I reserve the right to change my mind next week if I see some uber Oberwald action at Carnage

Personally, I'm with Norse on this one, but that's just because I loathe "Special Characters" in any and all GW games.

Option 1 perfered, option 3 is Ok.

Dave
With the rules Valen is running Goblins can field all of the following (ie no limit to the # of stars below taken except no more than one of each):

Bomber at 80k
Fungus at 60k
Morg at 860k (of course this is impossible to use ... just added for completeness)
Nobbla at 80k
Ripper at 200k
Scrappa at 60k
Thrud at 200k
Varag at 580k

Pretty much cancels out Varag (for gobs) as well then since the only team you can field is 10 normal gobs and varag.

That said could be fun having ripper, thrud, nobbler and bomber. Trouble is if trhud changes sides it could get real messy........
