TBB Season III Update

just poking those in the elite playoffs, ive spoken to half of you who say they havent seen the other half online

Sylvan Bomb Squad Won the Rookie Division !!!

After an ugly start in the finals vs Valpuras Home Gals amazons team (that mean 2 BH and 1 Si (apo failed) in the first turn, yeah you read it right, first turn) . The zons made then what i consider a mistake, in stalling the entire first half instead of quick scoring and trying to turn the elves over. So the 2 teams went to locker with the Gals leading 1-0.
Second half the woodies scored quick, and then concede another slow grinding TD, despite their aggresive defense. Then the game totally changed as The Bomb squad made an incredible one turn TD, grabbing some unexpected overtime.
Taking all their chances the elves scored fast again, leading 3-2. Some bad ball handling behind the line of the zons ended with the SBS taking the ball away from them and ran far with it. Despite all their efforts the Amazons couldn t recover and loose the game after scoring a last Td 4-3.

To resume the game : Lots of cas for the zons, especially in the early games, but the Sylvan Bomb Squad still managed to win by playing an agressive defensvie game and having the luck needed right in time .

We are the champions .... !!

And THe Elves come up on top but what a final it was!!

For those who missed it!!

TBB Elirte final - first drive to my Amazons and it all went my way with 2 BH and a SI including a WD down. took out another 2 quickly including 2nd Wd KO'd and formed a cage!!

Stuck by TD line popping out to blitz and block and his AG5 WE went down. 1st half 1-0.

2nd half he came back with 8 men and equalised and then it was a fight 2-1 then a 1 turn TD cleverly orchestrated by ND and he was in extra time!!.

Extra time saw 7 vs 8...he was still under but with 2 catchers and a WD...then a fan threw a rock and he burst through to score ...2-3 against!!

Nail biting stuff but with a failed throw ND scored another to make it 2-4.

My gals sneaked one back and were close to getting it back but just ran out of time .......and there it ends...great final 30 SPP's but still the long walk home..

Yeah, when? I have a 15 spp Blitzer I wanna deck out with (probably) another +AG before season III runs me over.

well ideally, i had hoped the elite final would be played before the friendlies started (i havent checked the group today yet!) but Im sure you folks can get some freindly action in now, just remember to keep within the rules (max TR of 200)

Sorry I've not been around lately, but I've been pretty busy of late, as well as having continuing comp troubles.

Sadly, it looks like I'll have to skip season 3. The rest of you have fun though, ya' hear?

So here we are again. Gorks Savages vs Mixlimbed Lurkers, just like last season. Our last meeting turned out as a draw in the league.This time it was different, he had Morg and the bomber and I had Luthor.

First half saw me turn the ball over with some nice rolls. Hypnogaze was awesome and allowed me to make a gap to blitz the ball. I scored in turn 8.

Second half I received. My team was being rapidly depleted, with 3 positional players being BH in the first half, including my super ghoul. I had to try a risky 4+ handoff which paid off and allowed the score.

Gken scored with Morg a few turns later with little effort. With only a few turns left I ran the clock down and kept the ball in my half to seal the win.

A few crucial rolls failed by Gken1 changed the course of the game. A bomb aimed at Luthor scatter harmlessly wide and a blitz with Morg to press the ball failed on doubleskulls.

The MIxedlimb Lurkers celebrate their second championship win and look forward to the next season.

Right after winning to Valen with freakishly good luck the almighty Nuffle decided to strike my pc with lightning.

I could actually hear the capacitators on my motherboard popping. So untill my pc is fixed (I'm hoping the lightning *only* melted my motherboard) it's no FUMBBL for me.

There is some kind of rumour that fouls and crowdpushs are "frowned upon" in the TBB league. That surely can't be true, can it?
