I saw this guy on ebayand man, his auctions look dodgy. Remember, general rule #1 of succesful ebaying: If it looks to good to be true, it most likely is.

So far, he's got feedback from selling the following auctions:
16 flings, 3 treemen - Â£31
16 flings, 3 treemen - Â£30 (BIN)
4 chaos warriors, 10 beastmen, 1 ogre, 1 troll, 1 thrudd, 1 cup. Â£24.99 (BIN)
4 rotters, 11 nurgle beastmen, 1 ogre, 1 troll, 1 minotaur, 1 cup. Â£22.50 (BIN)
1 treeman Â£5.69
1 zug Â£2.20
4 chaos dwarf, 10 hobgoblin, 1 minotaur, 1 thrud, 2 bullcentaur, 1 cup. Â£26

All models primered, with bases. 115 minis, out of which 22 are big guys or stars (1 zug), and 4 cup minis.

Apart from this he's been selling two identical dwarf armies for WHFB, three or four identical space marine fleets for BFG and a SHITLOAD of other GW minis.

Did anyone here buy anything from this guy?

Oh, forgot to mention... there doesn't seem to be any plastic in any auction - except for the bases. Recaster? Is that even economically viable, with the low prices he's charging.

Doesnt look to dodgy to me, probbably just a gw staff member looking to make some extra cash.

Makes sense actually. Someone with access to those ridiculously cheap GW staff pricing on the metal bits.

Does the discount apply to Bloodbowl and warmaster etc? I was once tempted to apply for a job in GW when i was at college (just because of the reported discount on minis) but i never got a form as i saw the leaping loons that i would have to work with every day!

If he is a GW staff member then i might drop him a PM and help me out with the rest of the teams/star players that i need to finish off my collection!

Heh he could make a fortune off us lot if he was legit

anyway, with their 20% ish discount, plus getting a set amount of stuff for people, he could be making a killing, otherwise it's not to dodgy i don't think.

have a word rob and see if he can get some orders together

I also think it is al little bit dodgy. If he is a GW guy offloading all the stuff he gets at a discount, why primer the stuff?

Primered minis itself are not suspicious, but loads of the same minis, all primered, smells a lot like recasting.

Smells like recasting, but why bother with BB when you can do some Tyranids or Wood Elves (or whatever the flavour of the month is) and make more than selling BB stuff?

I'm guessing it's actually just a job lot, purchased a load of the stuff off a friend or something and is just selling it.

erm... you guys don't realise the amount of discount gw staffget! a guy i know at my local store ordered a complete amazon team which cost him Â£2.80! they get it at cost plus a tiny bit i belive. plus 50% off all plastics and 25% at forgeworld. please excuse the language but..... ...BASTARDS!

Ah well. I do notice that there are a lot of teams being sold from northern ireland, from bangor, belfast and newtownabbey, all in the same area. Maybe its just a league that they had that they just packed in?
