Brown rob, anywhere from about 3 days (rare) to a month (also rare). Most are 1-2 weeks i would say.

Ten days is a good average for me. The difference with PBeM to FUMBBL is that you can play more than one game at a time. So you could play ten games in that space of ten days. :)

I average about 2 weeks for my games with most opponents it seems especially since I always seem to be playing folks from Germany, the UK, or OZ and the time difference allows 1 turn a day or 2 on good days.

The MBBL was one of the original test leagues for the LRB 1.0. We had 13 coaches who played 192 games via PBeM in 5 weeks. The minimum turns required per a week day to join that test league was 4 ... very very intense.

And as for the MBBL leaving you Sean ... yeah ... I know. The MBBL has always been meant to be a Test League for the BBRC and GW from its birth. So when the Vault first appeared and the amount of programming needed was more than I had time to do ... it got shelved as a league until I could fix it all. Hopefully that time has almost come.

Im not blaming u at all.

The biggest gripe i had with the vault from week one was that it moved way too fast to actually test everything or even come to terms with it.

I reckon the new MBBL league ought to be the thing to get me into PBEM.

So I have to apply or something?

Yes, you must be approved by a baker's dozen of your peers, presenting the appropriate documents in triplicate.

And we need to see you play a live game...

Whoops!

Wrong side of the world. In that case, you need to pay the airfares of the 2 judges. ;)

The same thing that the player was stunned happened again in test match. But this time I've a idea why it could happen. The player was lying stunned on the pitch a TD is scored the defence is set up and when the opponent selects his turn the player lies prone on the pitch.

Perhaps you check my guess. If you want to I can send you the other game file.

My guess was that it had something to do with the Stunned indicators not being reset from a new drive or new kick-off ... thanks for the confirmation that this is where to look.

heh, ok, if the MBBL is going to be full vault then count me in!

Just a few questions... if i go through my turn and injure an opponent, do i need to send him my game file? or do i play through my turn? or also with bouncing balls in a melee? might be time consuming if the ball bounces 20 times ;)

There is blatantly a topic telling me the answers, but my internet seems to cut off every 5 minutes... but broadband should be here any day!!

The game rolls automatically for all these events.

The only reasons to interrupt your turn and send a game file to your opponent in the middle for a Vault game will be if they need to decide to use Dump Off or not. Everything else is automated or ruled to be automated. (Example in PBeM it is assumed Diving Tackle will be used if it would result in a turnover or re-roll ... it is assumed you'll always use your Block skill to avoid falling down ... etc., etc. ... even Side Step is automated or pre-programmed by the opposing coach during his turn)

Argh... yeah and Pass Block.

However ... I strongly recommend using the Tool's special feature which can show you your opponent's Pass Block, Diving Tackle, and Tackle ranges at the start of your turn so you don't get surprised by them.

I presume there is still zero chance of it being ported to MacOS?

(Shame really as I'd return to the MBBL if I could fit in some turns while at work.)

I called Delphi about Mac executible creation and they said they don't have a product that does it. If they did I would pick it up martyn ... sorry.
