Looking for painted minis

I'm looking for fully painted teams.

I don't really care about editions as long as they look alright (my standards are not super high) and are close to meeting what I could normally crew a team with.

For instance, on an Orc team, I'd want 8+ Linemen 2 throwers, 4 Blitzers and 4 Black orc Blockers or something close (like at least two each of the non-linemen)

I am mostly interested in Dwarf, Undead, Orcs and Chaos.

The only two teams I am NOT interested in (because I already have em) are Dark elf and Skaven.

I am also interested in the following Star Players: Morg n Thorg, Griff Oberwald, Count Luthor von Drakenborg, Grim Ironjaw.

you could check ebay.
also you can "hire" people to paint a team for you..
but this is quite expensive!!

aye, i was thinking of offering my services to painting other folks teams when i get hell of a lot better and when i had a bit of time!

I also have the collectors bug, i now have 13 teams, but still want to max out some rosters

I want:

Amazon: (need full roster!)
Chaos (need 1 CW and a few mutants)
Chaos Dwarf (Completed)
Dark Elf (Completed)
Dwarf (need 3rd ed longbeards!)
Elf (Completed)
Goblin (Need full roster + Troll)
Halfling (Full roster + 2 Trees)
High Elf (Completed)
Human (Need one of the 5th ed Ogres)
Khemri (Need full roster!)
Lizardmen (Need 3 sauri)
Necromantic (Need full roster!)
Norse (Need 2 Blitzers, few linos)
Nurgle (Need full roster)
Orc: Recent metal (Need 2 BOB, 1 Blitzer, 1 Thrower)
Ogre (Need full roster) but will wait until Vault becoming official!
Skaven 3rd ed (1 Gutter, 1-2 linos)
Undead (1 Ghoul, 4-5 Zombies)
Vampire (Need full roster!)
Wood Elf (Need 2 catchers, 1 thrower, 5-6 linos, 1 Tree)

I have 3 skellies that i painted up but no longer want, but i was really after unpainted minis!

I also have a stack of WFB Orcs that i bought with the intention of painting, but never got round to it! Ive never played WFB either!

I have:

Grimgor Ironhide (very nicely painted)
Black Orcs inc command x approx 13
Rock Lobba (Half painted, but will finish it soon) x 1
Loads of plastic gobbo spearmen/archers, when you got high elves and gobs in the box set, all unpainted
Goblin wolf riders (undercoated, one painted, not by me!) x 10
Orc chariot, half assembled, but will finish it x 1
Squigs/herders, one nicely painted, rest unpainted x approx 6-8
Orc boyz axes/archers (5th edition??) x approx 40-60 a couple are painted
40 High elf spearmen/archers - unpainted
1 Dark elf bolt thrower, not latest one
1 plastic Orc BB team, painted (not by me, but OK)
a few converted Night gobs for BB
I also have the Orc handbook or whatever it is

in good condition

I havent checked in a while so there may be more/less of each. Im willing to trade or buy at a fair price!

So after checking around this site a little more, would I have better luck chasing down teams piece by piece?

I live in the US and most the the sellers seem to be from England or Europe so I rather thought the shipping on the one piece at a time to be a tad prohibitive.

If yer gonna go after painted teams, it could get expensive. The other option is to buy base metal and get them painted for you like some one else said, but that gets expensive too.

The last option is to buy base metal and paint them yourself. They may not be as "good " as some of the professional painters, but they are cheaper, and more importantly, they are self painted which tends to end up meaning more. Besides, with practice you could get a lot better.

Thanks for the advice, I can already paint pretty decently, I'm just a lazy bastard with more money than time right now. ; )

Wow those are some nice minis Firebreather. But since I don't have any minis to send you I'm not sure we can make a deal. Even if a did five pounds per mini is a wee bit beyond my price range.

I was hoping to buy a painted team for 100 dollars US or maybe 120 tops (65 pounds).

Perhaps my expectations are unrealistic as I really dont know prices. If so sorry to have wasted people's time.
