Seems a shame that a number of players just want to use this site as an outlet for there frustrations in life mate.
Hm, Margaretthorn, just wondering, if you watching this forum quite a while without posting at TBB to get this opinion? I´m here quite a while now and got a different feeling.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OK, i´m posting most of my time here at TBB at the "calm" forum sections like for sale, miniatures, newbie, general, off topic. But i´m reading also other sections , too, without posting... still i got the impression, its a "friendly" forum here at TBB (not like the CMON  )
1. Do old TBBers have a problem with Newbie TBBers and attack them with no reason and become rude?
I got just one case in my time here, who ask me about some bad behavior of other TBBs.
2. Do people here have a problem with those that have other opinions than theirs and attack them with no reason and become rude?
There ARE other opinions as over all , but IMO no worse than elsewhere.
3. Do people here have a racial problem with Greeks and attack them with no reason and become rude?
A clear NO ! Why should they at all ?

I'm convinced that TBB is a nice forum to spend some time :).
2 or 3 persons can't change that.

To be honest, TBB is starting to decline, too many peoiple with personal vendettas starting flame wars over nothing, used to be a great place to come and chat, not so much anymore.

hi torg,

i have noticed that as well, i have only been a member for a year but there are so many arguments now it is untrue. when i log on all i see is war of words between people, i imagine it looks threatening to newbee's and veterens alike. i wish everyone could just calm down, i know we all feel passionatley about the game but at the end of the day thats all it is...a game.

i hate to think the future holds for this site, now we have long term members leaving, new ones afraid to post...is this the beginning of the end? only time will tell. i would like to hope not as i used to love coming here, and will continue to do so because i still learn so much but i am beginning to despair.

At the moment the PBBL changes are making a lot of people very angry. That's understandable. It isn't generally indicative of what the forum is like as a whole.

I too read Geeks.

That's some collective filter we have. :D

I too hope that the vault and rules flux is the bee that's buzzed up some shorts.

I'm still trying to learn the art of knowing when to just walk away from certain responses....

Over-all though, I've met many a great fellow here. And even managed a few intelligent conversations about the game we all play so differently.

Having only joined recently! I have found it quite refreshing in fact as long as people don't take what is said literally!! :-?

I have read this site messages on and off for the last year but really have been too busy to post. I registered once around 12 months back under a different name and address but then lost the passwords.

I think sites like these are imperative for the gaming community and can be a lot of fun to get involved with! I personally play RPG's & CCG's as well as gaming but there are few forums as open as this available!!

Only advice I can put out is Yes theres always a bit of burn, but hey that's life, don't take it to heart just surf the highs & lows and you will soon cool off!! 8) 8) 8) 8)

The other thing you have to remember is that it is very easy to mis-understand a reflection in written text. What might sound like a light and joking remark in your head as your writing it can easily sound like a major flame in someone elses head. Don't get me wrong, there are some people on this board that flame, but for the most part, it's pretty tame compared to other boards.

Stick around for a bit and you'll see.
