2nd Ed Trolls - Values?

Righto guys - I am a bit of a newbie to the game and need some help.

I have luckily come across the following two models :

I have stripped them back, and they are as new.

But I have no idea at all on what their real world value is!

Can anyone help me out and tell me what these two models are worth? If if they were on the market, would you be interested in buying them?

I don't want to push people to auction, I might even look at trading too!

That's the Problem - I HAVE NO IDEA!

I honestly don't know what they are worth.

I am chasing Orc players though - metal. Probably a few gobbos too - but I dunno what the models are worth!?!?!?!?

The first troll was an old star player, he usually sells on EBAY for around $15-20 as he is quite hard to find..

The second troll was the 'normal' troll, and usually goes for around $12-15..

I would also be interested in the first 1 as I have actually lost out on one before on EBAY, I paid, but he never arrived

Let me know if you & Piepgrass can't find an agreement..

1 metal Orc Blitzer
Morg 'N Thorg

If anyone has these models for trade I'd love to hear from you! I am happy to trade both the trolls for the above models - would that be fair?

Sorry for being such a Noob about this, I just need a leg up into the game and getting the models can be an excercise in pain

You can get the orcs and gobbos from mail order. Shouldn't cost you much at all. I reckon you could expect a roster of 16 for those 2 trolls.

They're worth what you can get someone to pay you for them. If you asled me, they're only worth about $10 a piece. If you can get more than that for them do it. They come up fairly regularly on eBay and can often be found in lots with other items for a lot less. I think I sold off all my extras but I was swimming in these trolls for a while.

By the way, there are 2 other trolls that are very rare, although I just saw 4 of one version sold on eBay, in 4 different lots, with other, more common 2nd ed big guys. I was camping and didn't get to bid!!!

Anyone got one or both?

Can't get the 2nd pic to work. Galak, I borrowed these from your page. Can you fix that?

Snots ... I won one of the those auctions and BigD won another.

I've got all the Big Guys now in my collection. Have a few more 2nd edition guys to get to have them all ... I don't count CD #7 until someone can prove the darn fellow exists

I'm the guy who dig out the troll with a ball... Hum, to be frank, it's a friend of mine who bought it first, and told me he had a weird troll with a football ball in its hand

And I put this picture some months ago on this board. I SHOULD have a second one in a few weeks (when I'll see this friend again). snotgrots: please feel free to send me a Pm if you'd be interested in.

THe second troll is a bob olley one, which i trade with galak in a very fair deal. But it's a missing piece in my collection, now, and I'm currently looking for it. If some of you would have it, please feel free, guess what ? to send me a pm, in order to make me an offer. DOn't know if it's a rarer piece than the troll with a ball; I didn't see it on ebay since i bought the first one.

Okay. This is weird. Piepgrass (and a couple others I have to admit) was offering straight out cash for the models, but I'd MUCH rather trade for other models. You see, I am way over here in Australia and getting BB stock here is a nightmare - I know the below gear is still in production, but it's a pain in the butt to get it from the UK cost wise. A trade works a LOT better for me - and obviously to the collectors amongst you, it works better for you as well!

With that in mind, as said before, This is what I really need :

2 metal Gobbos
1 metal Orc Blitzer
Morg 'N Thorg

Plus obviously as many metal orcs someone is willing to offer to make it a 'fair' trade for the two trolls (go easy on the N00b you lot

)

At this stage, NO ONE has actually made me any offers at all yet on the trade of these two minis!!! I don't have one PM at the moment so please gents, it's open season as far as I am concerned! If you have the Gobbos, a Blitzer and Morg N Thorg to offer for the pair to start with, I want to hear from you! If you can spare a few extra metal orcs of any variety, that would be great (oh and a plastic footy with the spikes - I need one of those too LOL!!!), but those 4 models are really the ones I need the most right now.

REPEAT - I HAVE HAD NO OFFERS YET ON THESE MODELS! So PM me now gents and let's get those trolls to a new home eh? I am positive one of you guys would love to have them in your collection?
