Turn is played and surprise surprise the vamps failed to score. Only thing left was the 2+ pickup and one GFI, which surprisingly enough failed on the pickup instead of on that last nailbiting GFI
After a dramatic Kick Off result of 'Change of Weather - NICE: perfect BB weather'- the action starts.
A determined Vamp team has set up with a Vamp and thrall running team on the left hand side of the field , two Vamps in base-to-base contact with an ogre on the left hand edge of the centre-zone, two humans on the right hand side of the centre-zone facing another Ogre and a gap in the middle of the field covered by two more thralls set up a little deeper in their own half. The Vampire known as 'Emberbreeze' is deep in the Vamps half of the pitch ready to pick up the ball.
1st things 1st; the ball. Emberbreeze nimbly scoops the ball up and heads towards the running team on the left hand side of the pitch. He makes two GFIs with ease and throws the ball. Dwarfcoach (the 'running Vamp' ) looks as if he will fail to catch the ball but after a bit of an awkward moment (and a quick re-roll) he has the ball comfortably. A bit of thrall manouvering as the nearest Ogre is marked and the thrall-half of the running team moves forward and then DC is off down the left had side of the field. He cleverly hides behind the aforementioned Thrall, not out of fear but simply because he is an aristocrat and it is his God given right to do so if he wishes.
Some more Thrall marking players is followed by a fearsome block from the Vampire named Darkson which knocks an Ogre to the ground. This creates space for the mysterious blood-sucker PowerTurtle to move up field into a further defensive pattern for the 'running team'. This only leaves two Thralls standing next to the Ogre on the far right of the pitch; one thrall dodges away easily and the second thrall decides to examine the pitch one square away from the Ogre, searching for pit traps or something....
Turn ends with Santas Little Helpers seven squares away from the Ogre endzone.....

*Mr. T pities the fool. Chuck Norris rips the fool's head off. *
after my turn, that saw some brilliant moves by the ogre's (and they all remembered them!) the ball carrier might feel himself slightly surrounded by a couple of Ogres and gobs .. can't be bothered to remember their names though ..
I'll PM you my addy, to make sure you've sent it to the right one.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
erm, i've got a problem... i have the file, i log in as 'TeamA' without ', but when i try to take my turn, it keeps repeating 'you are not playing this game, log on as another coach'. what am i supposed to do ?

When he got back to his senses, Orin the Ogre decided that Darkson the Vampire had taunted him long enough. He blocked him with all his might, and Darkson ended up being carried away, looking Badly Hurt. maybe his supernatural abilities will allow him to be back on track next drive, though, you never know with those things.
Gus, unexpectedly, failed his bonehead roll (....). Xtreme, wanting to follow Orin's example, blitzed BlueDevil420 the Thrall, but rolled double skulls. the TRR changed that result to a double pow, though, and the Mighty Blow shot by the Ogre made so that another member of Santa's team went away badly hurt.
Then Ithilkir the goblin decided it was time to play with the ball. he picked it up easily, and handed it off to Christmas Gobbo #9 (yeah, his parents were a bit weird), who then rushed in the middle of his Ogre friends, forming a loose cage. Leipziger went all the way to Emberbreeze the Vamp, who was hanging in his backfield, to taunt him and prevent him from effectively defending against the attack. last, after 3 dodges and 2 GFI, Christmas Goblin #10 (#9's little brother) rushed to protect his sibling, and helped closing (well, almost) the cage.
sending the file now. as a sidenote, it sucks that the ONE time i'm lucky in PBeM lately is when i play a tourney and not my teams =D
The Ogres started off with Levinas the Ogre pushing Christmas Thrall #11 against the sidelines, Gus and Xtreme moved in to block off Dwarfcoach the vamp and Chrimbo Thrall #12 from the ball. Orin pushed Chrimbo Thrall #11 into Dave the Ogre who proceeded to snap the poor Thralls arm off (SI). Ithilkir the gobbo then run towards the ball and picked it up standing next to the prone PowerTurtle. Christmas gobbo #10 then ran over beside Powerturtle and stuck a boot right into her gut, but to little effect.
Then, all of a sudden Leipziger the goblin savagely attacked Emberbreeze the Vampire and the pair of them crashed to the ground, sadly Leipzigers heart gave out during the frenzied attack and he promptly expired!
Vamps next turn sent to Duke Jan

Well, terible turn by the vamps, mainly consisted of moving blood donors into vampires reaches. But it wasn't needed. Only stood up one vamp before a thrall failed to stay on its legs.
