Blood Bowl Trophy small scale

Next batch should be arriving at the end of this week.

Really blew it estimating shipping costs for the foreign trophy so the actual costs for internationals may end up closer to 45 USD ... (sorry) ... I lost money on a couple of the ones that I just sent out for a multitude of reasons that I just plan didn't think of (including the fact that some of the top skulls had more metal embedding in them than others which put the overall weight over 2 pounds on 2 of them ... greatly increasing the shipping cost).

So I'll get country I'm shipping to. Wrap up your trophy and then weight it and send you the final cost ... should still run between 40 and 45 USD depending on pommel weight and country of destination.

I'm hoping to hear from the 2 folks I shipped out to soon to see how well the trophies survived the overseas shipping.

Yes ... I sent international trophies to you, Frank, and Piepgrass. And one to Darthnoir in the States.

Frank said his arrived today an is in good shape which is a positive sign.

Okay the next shipment arrived and I should be breaking out the Dremel this weekend to cut off and grind down another batch.

I'll have 9 of them. Now I've had mixed folks say they would like one. I'd like to stick to overseas folks for this batch.

So save up your pennies as I went back to the post office and after much test weighing realized that the first trophy I used to estimate shipping for some reason weighted less than 2 pounds ... whereas all the rest of them are normally just over 2 1/2 pounds ... this explains why I was SOOOOO far off on estimating shipping costs.

So the new price for these trophies will be (and this includes air shipping except for US which is 1st class w/delivery confirmation (so in effect US folks are paying 10 USD for me to remove the blade mainly due to cost of shipping the trophy twice):

US: 37 USD
Canada: 38 USD
Anywhere else: 47 USD

Okay ... those prices are locked down now as I've been able to weigh several of these bad boys now and think I've got a much better understanding of all the costs involved in this venture ... like I said ... the first 3 trophies that went out ... darthnoir, hooming_era, and Pipgrass got a great deal on because I screwed up the shipping so badly ... but I try not to make the same mistake twice.

And just a reminder ... to avoid customs issues ... I have to remove the blade to ship it.

Anyway here are the folks that I believe are in line to get one (names in bold will get one of the next batch of 9):

Indigo/Lycos/Venomous Breath ... okay I checked out and if you three get yours as one package it will only be 45 USD a piece (135 USD total).

First 9 folks to respond to this thread that they are ready to pay will get the next 9. Its about the fairest way I can do this as I've had issues already with folks in line wanting one but still lining up the funds.

Well mine has arived as well.
It is more or less intact, one of the smaller tips has broken off, but the damage is next to invisilbe after i glued it.

I am sorry to hear that you lost money on the shipping,so I will paypall you the difference.

Those tips are darn fragile ... I think they are one of the few hollow pieces on the trophy.

However ... I've found as you say that they tend to break off in one solid piece and are easily repaired.

New batch ready and PMs sent out to folks about this batch.

Anyone else who is interested should make sure they get one. The dealer who is selling this emailled me that he thinks he won't be carrying these items any more past January of next year.

So based on the list of folks that wanted them. I have 16 ready in this batch and I might get one last shipment of 9 ... and unless some more folks say something ... that might be the end of it ... ie 29 total sent out of the US and that will be it.
