Looking for a khmeri team

Post by Abator »

Hey everyone,

I'm thinking of starting up a Khmeri team next season, but I'm missing one thing...the team.

Anyways, if anyone want's to part with a team, painted or non-painted, doesn't matter. I'm going to strip them anyways.

Let me know

I wouldn't strip them, unless you want to do that multi-piece puzzle every Khemri players consist of again. I'd love to play a Khemri team with the official Khemri minis but the assembling of that 7-piece minis is too much for me :( I'd probably pay someone to do that for me, though. :D

yea, well there is that.

I'm still on the fence about using the acutal GW minis. I've been browsing around to see if there isn't any other models that could be used. Possibly the tomb kings guards from warhammer. Ah, I don't know...we'll see.

I figured I'd put a feeler out there to see if there were any good deals. :D

Deal: I'll assemble two Khemri teams and give them to you (for free), then you pay your house-painter to paint them and i get one team back ;) Somehow i enjoy assembly and conversion more than painting. Esp. if the painting involves bandages ...

he, he, my bank accountant just told me that I would receive the short end of the stick should I agree on that :)
Nice try Tim...

But seriously, can the Khemri skellies be pinned (mainly ams & head I guess) or not?

There too small and fiddly to pin ( At least too thin for me anyway ). Plus i used the plastic bodies from the Regiments kit as plastic bonds better than metal on metal, but one still fell off ;-)

Depends on the time i'll have to spend on assembly ... that's 24 skellies ... :-? Additionally i don't get the minis for free ... and i was talking full teams of 16+Ramtut of course. No idea what you pay for having a team painted though. And yes, i was only semi-serious about that offer ;)

And yes, you can pin Khemri (these guides have been posted some time ago):

Which would you get, the WH skeleton regiment or the tomb guards regiment. I find the tomb guards look more bloodbowlish, but I'm not sure about some of the clippings. It looks like one of the swords is attached to the body.
