Definitely not a fly by night ... the packing material was custom to the trophy. ... this whole thing is weird to me. There was NOTHING on the package crediting Games Workshop for the name Blood Bowl or the image of the trophy. Heck the bottom of the box had the little gold "Made in China" sticker.

If I buy one and send it to JJ ... will it get through customs???? :D

I reckon let them get their pennies! :) GW is hardly suffering and if (and when  ) they move into the 'life-size trophy' industry you can be sure that their lawyers will sort it out.

Lets be serious for 11 seconds, GW PLC made over 125 million pounds in 2003! :o That's over 231 million US dollars and almost 300 million Oz Dollars!!

:o :o

If a company can really make a few quid (and lets be honest, if they are only selling on E-Bay there really is not much profit involved) then I say let them have their day.

I love GW, it spawned BB and long may it live. But the huge corporate machine does not have to have civilians helping it, it has enough people ensuring the are at the top already....

Oh wow.

I emailed this guy just out of curiousity and asked if doing this concerned him for legal reasons.

He asked me who Games Workshop was and that he had never heard of them. These are just a product his supplier from China was offering and he decided to see if it would sell in the US ... :o :o :o

That would sure explain a lot to me ... because I cannot see a thinking person doing this. Seriously this is such an easy law suit ... its almost not funny.

But I have my two and I hope others can get one as well if they want one ... I really think this could be a limited duration ride now that I have more pieces to the puzzle.

Oh ... and buyer beware a little. I asked if I could return the 2nd trophy were the quality was not nearly as good as the other and his replay was that they come to him from China new in the box and that while I might think the one on the left in the photo is a better quality than the one on the right ... that's just my opinion as someone else might prefer the one of the right. So my personal preference is not considered a defect and so not eligible for exchange.

IF I wasn't planning on painting the not so great one ... I'd be upset. But since I'm planning to completely re-paint it to look more like the color trophy on the front of the BB Handbook ... no sweat ... but I just wanted to make sure you guys were aware of the type of seller this guy is.

well i'd have to agree with dwarf coach....it's not like GW is in the business of selling knives. He's just small time anyway. selling them at that price I doubt he's getting rich selling them.

.................whens the chaos cup version coming out LOL!!!!!!!!!!! ??

Anything I say is totally opinion and (knowing my luck) probably completely wrong. Keep this in mind.
