Hail Mary Pass should almost be called "Punt".

I like that one. 'Punt'. Simple.
Another one is that Going for it should be called sprinting.
I prefer short, simple and understandable terms.

ofcourse you can get lucky with the scattering and diving cath, but as a rule of thumb its a turnover and a loose ball

It is 46.7% chans that a player with Diving Catch will be allowed to catch the ball.

If you would allow a pro or team reroll on HMP I would say you would also have to allow a pass reroll.

I think you also have to make some distinction between a gobbo who picked up HMP and a thrower with pass who uses it as part of their repertoire. I see no problem with allowing pass rerolls.
