Where do I get BB cheap?
I am a teacher in Australia who has started a 7 a side BB league in my school and the boys love it. For some strange reason the game is unavailable in Australia and I was after 6 or so copies of the game + a variety of teams for less than the price GW wants.
Any suggestions?

make some boards if you have the time, dowload the living rule book, make some throwing and scatter templates, join the Naf for block die, buy teams from ebay.

You can get blanc dies as well. You can then make your own blockdice!longfang wrote:make some boards if you have the time, dowload the living rule book, make some throwing and scatter templates, join the Naf for block die, buy teams from ebay.

Wow,
I would have loved to have BloodBowl as a school subject
! For the teams you can use the superb Shadowforge-miniatures (you could use them for Human-, Amazon-, Elf-, Woodelf and Highelf-Teams, they even have some great referees) - they are from Australia. And I bet that most of the boys will REALLY love those figures
!
Furhermore, your pupils could convert their own teams from the Warhammer-range during the art-lessons
.
Best regards,
Tante Käthe.

yeah, homemade pitches and join naf for dice.
for minis the best bang for your buck is PHils' phigs or shadowforge mini's. Both around $2.50 a mini vice $5+ for GW figs.
or if you can find a cheap auction on ebay but those tend to be hit or miss.

Oh, and I almost forgot Phils's minis (at www.phigsminiatures.com), he has some great figures (you can check out my female Norse team here: viewtopic.php?t=13132 - pimping my own thread
) you can use for all sorts of teams and he has shipping fee of only $ 5.00, even for international orders!
Regards,
Tante Käthe.

Thanks guys. Those female mini's are just a bit too revealing for me to be telling the boys about. I didn't mention that it is a Christian school and I guarentee letters and parent complaints if the boys bought some of those figures home.
It is a once a week lunchtime club I have started and there is little time to make pitches. All I have done at the moment is photocopy two A3 pieces of paper and glued them together for the pitch. It just fits for the modified 7 a side style.
Thanks again for the feedback

Print out some BB7's pitches from here and laminate them. You can get blocking dice from GW-US mail order for $0.50 each USD.
