A good idea?

Right in the last week or so I have been exercising my geekness and have come up with what might be a nice idea for a site.

How do people think about a site that people can email into and the email gets posted as news item. I was thinking mainly for use for tournament reports. Kind of a running commentary, updates after matches and stuff like that.

What with more places having access to the internet and therefore email, would anyone be interested in using or reading something like this.

Also those places without email access you can use your mobile phone, doesn't cost much to send a text only email off a phone these days. Or anyone who is staying nearby with net access.

Would also cut out the delay of waiting for tournament reports to appear.

At the very least I can certainly be able to do it at any tournys I go to.

Also the ability to update via email won't require anyone needing much technical know how. Posts can also be as long or as short as needed and can be updated from anywhere.

my manager wouldn't let me take my blackberry away with me anyway so i didn't really see the need to hurry it up
