Wanting BB PC Game
HELP!! I'm looking for the original Blood Bowl PC game. Does anyone know where I can get one? From what I found out it was produced by Micro League (who was bought out by Ablesoft) but I can't find any places to buy a copy from. PLEASE HELP!!

Went to Underdogs
I went to The Underdogs website. It was a 15MB zipped file I downloaded. I unzipped it but can't get it to install & run. Any suggestions would be helpful.

hey man just go to http://fumbbl.com/ and you will find a bloodbowl league where you can play online rather that against a dumb computer AI which is easy to beat!

Java & Win 95 don't play together
I went to the site to get the JAVA game, but it won't run on 95. I'll get it on my home PC, but I want something I can run on my old laptop. This is why I'm looking for the regular PC game. Any help would be appreciated!

Where did you put it when you unzipped it? I found it had to be in a particular directory (C:\BBOWL, I think, but worth checking).
BTW, it's pretty rubbish, especially if you are used to the normal rules, IMO.

Go to underdog and read through the FAQ. In there you will find a link for Dosbox. Also you don't really have to run the install you just unzip and type bb and it should work. if it gives you a conventional memory message just use dosbox to run it. Works slick as snot for all of those old dos games and some of the earlier windows games that you just can't live without. I know I am still playing masters of magic on my xp box using doxbox. BTW The AI in blood bowl does suck

I decided to download the game and dosbox myself (I have the game, but I haven't played it since my old computer gave up the ghost). Could someone please pm me and give me the idiot's guide to getting this to work? So far, I have had no luck.
Thanks, Goblingrin
PS Somewhere in the TBB files is a thread about someone who did an add-on to the game that made it a lot better (Skill rolls for SPP's, create new teams, other goodies). Unfortunately, the site disappeared a while ago. If anyone knows where it went, I'd like to get my hands on that too.

are you sure?Thor Keister wrote:I went to the site to get the JAVA game, but it won't run on 95.
I thought the Java runtime (from http://java.sun.com) worked fine on '95 and if it does JBB should work too.
