Well it's no rumour that all the teams will be redone, but certainly not by the year's end. Maybe the Humans, with the Skaven next year.PilsBier wrote:I just wonder if the rumours are true and maybe at years-end we'll see a whole bunch of new (redone) teams emerging the Blood-Bowl-Fields.
If the look of the teams is just like that thrower, I'll look forward to it.

Considering the fact that they had the new SW Dwarfs in metal in oktober 2002 (or around that time somewhere) and they are not coming out until 2005, I wouldn't hold my breath.
This guy looks quite nice, though. Only remark I can make is that his left hand seems really small

There is no thing as too many spikes! Removing them is easy if you prefer a less spikey look. Adding them can be a pain. So although, i'm not a big fan of too many spikes, i'll prefer to remove some.bo wrote:knowing that, this thrower-mini still has too many annoying spikes, in my opinion, and that makes it ugly.(but fortunately, you could easily cut or file them off)

I'd bet that's got more than a little to do with getting something other than house rules out for them. After all they appeared at about the same time as Griff, Varag and the new mino, all of which are out now.Redfang wrote:Considering the fact that they had the new SW Dwarfs in metal in oktober 2002 (or around that time somewhere) and they are not coming out until 2005, I wouldn't hold my breath.
I like the fig BTW.

Edit on my last post, not really 16 but close to it, all positionals will be different and 2-3 different linemen. Also all positionals will be identifiable as what they are.

Really like that, if the whole team looks like that then i'll be very happy and slightly out of pocket! I think it hits the right balance between the fantasy and sports look.
Good news about the amount of figs too, I'm looking forward to a proper 16 man squad with maxed out positionals.

I think part of the reason it looks awkard is the arm holding the ball. To me, the ball looks backwards... maybe if it were more sideways, like in the pics Skummy posted, it would look better.
Overall, though, I like it. The spiky elbow is that last minuite protection before he get's taken down.

Just had a thought about the new teams. Are they going to be realeased one at a time as produced or do we have to wait until they are all finished?
I hope one at a time as that gives me a chance to buy the ones I like and save up for the next release. Looking forward to this team at least
