Selling my lizards too

I'm going to sell my lizardmen team, yes, the one I used at last Blood bowl. It has 1 krox, 6 sauruses, 4 skinks and a coach made of a skink shaman plus base. The main problem is I don't know how much should I get for it. A friend who works on a Workshop store told me I should ask for 300 euros... what do you think?

With the base I think €300 is pushing it a little bit - but on eBay I wouldn't be surprised if you make it.

The one thing that would put me off (and its the only thing) is that it isn't the full 16 so I don't have any flexibility in team selection.

Awesome!

But my first advise is to add 5 more painted Skinks, so you have a team playable in a league setting. Else you'll decrease the circle of poential buyers...

I'm painting my new team so I have little time to paint more skinks. I'm still not sure about it's price, just asking.

As Ian said, on ebay everything is possible, but with the current $weakness/Euro strength you'll barr most of the crazy american bidders.

But 250,- Euro for a squad of 16 would be proper IMHO, but I may be wrong. Maybe more as the paintjob is extraordinary. Ask Snots, he's looking for a painted Lizardmen team, but he won't buy a 11 player team.

If you can't supply additional Skinks, that's how I'd do it:

Offer it either on ebay.com or ebay.co.uk, the European BB crazies will check both them anyway

Search for some official GW photos from the last BB, is this team appearing somewhere on them, if yes put a link at your ebay-auction, it will elevate your team into something (more) special.

Set a reserve price, to protect your investment (200,- /250,- Euros??)

Set an instant buy if you like (350,- Euro??)

My team didn't win any price at bbowl, only appeared at house-rules magazine. And I only have won one painting prize at GW shops...
I think I have to read ebay's "howto".

this was the only team to have beaten me at the blood bowl last year (it was down to silly dice rolls as well not using the great skill with which norse beat me)

that should bump the price up a bit ;]

You should put your team at coolminiornot.

And I think if you put it on ebay and will offer to sell worldwide you would get about 180 - 220 Euros I think.

But as other guys said: It would be better if you add 5 more skinks to your team.

So if you are not in hurry to sell them just wait until you have time to paint the remaining skinks.

Anca, this is one of the best painted BB teams I have ever seen.. why it didn't make it into the last 3 at the BB last year is beyond me.. I'm astonished to hear your selling it to be honest, but it really is up there with Ant's Norse or Squig's Orcs... I'd say 250 EUR minimum and possibly much, much more!!

Good luck dude, whoever gets this team gets one of the all time greats in my opinion.. and I've actually touched them!

Thx norse. As I told on private message to Snots, I know 300 euro are a lot for 12 minis on a base, but I have been choosen for painting prize on all spanish tournaments I've gone. I spent lot of hours on them and wouldn't be fair to pay each one for 14 euro
