Please Help Me Paint Bilerot Vomitflesh (Chaos Warrior)

I've been lucky enough to track down several older, unpainted miniatures for Blood Bowl, including Bilerot Vomitflesh. In case you don't already know, this guy is a Chaos Warrior Star Player who plays exclusively for the Chaos team, of course. If you've already painted this model, I need your help. If you look at the area just above his shoes but below his knee pads, there appears to be ruffles. It might be part of his footwear, it may be his pants wrinkled at the bottom, it might be an extension of his boots (like a high boot), it may be a lot of things but I can't make it out. The problem with painting older models is that it's hard to find examples to help you out because these models are out of production. I have Citadel Journal Issue #25 that contains the stats for all the older Star Players, but the pics in there are black & white. Surely some of you have painted this model, or have color pics of him. I'd like your advice on painting this section of the figure. I can't tell if those ruffles are part of his pants or his shoes. See? That's why I don't like to paint. I painted a mini once that what I tought was a bare chest I did in flesh turned out to be a shirt once I turned the mini over and started painting the back.

It sounds like your problem is less severe, though. I don't have my Bilerot in front of me but, it the wrinkly part is uniform and goes all the way around the leg, it can be anything you paint it. Saggy, wrinkled, disease-riddled flesh? Sure! Sweat socks? Why not. Trousers? He doesn't strike me as the sort of guy who wears them. Use your imagination.

Fondu painted a nice Bilerot too, but I think he has never posted a pic of it... Too bad !

methinks computer "operator" problem...

and yes, I like the very nurgly colour scheme a lot... never really noticed before that he's wearing trainers though... looks a bit too sporty on a pestilent Chaos Warrior deosn't it?
