Kudos to Andy (Charon)and Neal (War Store)

Post by Snew »

I just wanted to let everyone know what good service I got from both Andy at Charon, http://www.battlepack2001.com/ and Neal at the War Store. http://www.thewarstore.net/

First, I wrote Andy to ask about the Gamer's Satchel inserts. He replied quickly and was very helpful and friendly. Somewhere in our emails I mentioned that I got a Gamer's Satchel out of a hobby store in California that had some of the stitching missing that looked like a rip. He replaced the whole Satchel, no questions asked. I bought another $80 worth of stuff from him and he shipped it immediately. Very friendly and very good service!

Second was an order I placed at The War Store. I had never ordered from them before but I wanted some Epicast bases and some superglue. About 20 minutes later Neal wrote to let me know that my order was being separated and, the next morning that it had been shipped. I thought, "Yeah right, I'll believe it when I see it.". I had my glue and bases the next day. Damn that was quick.

Now, I know that all these two guys did was to treat me the way I think a person should treat a customer but I've seen so little of that lately that I had to come over here and crow about them. Customer service seems like it's so dead and these two guys really did a lot to restore my faith. I'll be returning to them for my buying needs and I recommend them to you as well.

I have wanted one of the gammer satchels for some time. Guess I should get around to ordering one before tourney season. Glad to hear there are still companies that care about their customers.

Neal rocks... I've spent a lot of money with him recently and he was very helpful and honest (even if it cost him a few extra sales).. I respect that in a retailer..

I've bought a Gamer's Satchel from Charon too. Andy did great in sending it promptly, and the bag does a great job of carriying my minis. Pitty is he hasn't a good representative in Spain, so the p&p went realy high here.

But if i'm not wrong, he's got someone in the UK ...

Heh, now you have me interested, Snots. Which one of those is the smallest, and how much can it carry? (being lazy, I'll admit, It was just easier to ask here, then browse his site.
