Team FS? looking for feedback, please:

I am considering selling my team(s).
What does a well painted team go for on eBay these days? They took away the search completed items, or I would have figured it out myself.

Here is a pic of a team which I have posted before, most likely I will break up the 10 regular players with the Ogre, Coaching Staff, and custom tentacled rotter separate.

I will also be posting some other Big Guy, Cheerleaders etc.

Thats's one AWESOME team ... I think this one would sell very well if you keep it together.

Adding the missing Beastmen for a full roster (or at least offering to paint them matching the team) would help as well.

But i think 150-200 US should be easily in range for the full team.

Wow, they're great.

Definately keep them together, it will put people off bidding if they think they might get half the team but not the rest.....

Brilliant Job!!!! Very nice. If you decide to go for it and sell it, it will get a very good price. Personaly its worth the 200 US already! (but follow the words of Dwarf Coach, keep it together!)

I'd wouldn't bid unless the painter agreed to paint up 5 more beastmen. Assuming that he did, I could see me picking up another team.

Awesome team. If you are willing to do a few more beastmen the price will go up considerably. But i would keep the team together. I might even see If I could compete with the Big Spenders if you had a few more beastmen.

from auctions' i've seen adding the extra pieces doesn't make the team sell for that much more--at least not the effort the extra minis are worth.

You have to consider that many (some?) wouldn't bid on a 12 player team at all. At least I wouldn't, I require at least 16 players and when I give minis away for painting I even prefer 16-18 players to be able to build the team in a league as I want (depending on race).

Why pay all that loot for a team, then have 4 beastmen that don't match? Do a full 16 man roster, and it will be even better.

I agree with snotsngrots on this one. I would only be interested if I could purchase a "complete" team painted to the same level of quality.

Have you thought about doing commisoned work? That really is some good painting, I wouldnt be hesistant to say 'eavy metal quality, from what I can see. THe work on the the guy with the sythes robe is awesome, as is the detail shading, and blending. If you'd be interested in doing an orc team, I have one i need painted, and would be willing to pay, if it was a reasonable price. pm me!
