I'm not sure what colour to paint my saurus. For those of you who don't want to look at the (georgeous ) models in the links, my skinks are Dark Angel Green highlighted with with Snot Green. They have Golden Yellow head-fins, and Blood Red BB armoured pads.
Which colour should I use for the Saurus???? I'm thinking maybe blue and keep the red pads but I'm not sure....

Or a deep red (like a bloodletter ) with black scales
Or PINK with Flourescent Green scales.
Or stick static grass all over them so they blend in with the pitch.
Actually that last one is a good plan, i will have to look into this.

My lizards are Red Gore, with Bad Moon Yellow scales (using blazing Orange as a base and highlighting).
I'll get some pics online at some stage - they were complimented on wednesday so they can't be completely crap.
You could try switching around the green and yellow from the skinks(yellow body/green scales) maybe...but Yellow Saurus sounds a bit harsh on the eyes.

Dammit, the Coatl idea was the greatest I've ever heard for a lizard team! But themes should apply to the whole team I think, not only one player type.
I varied the skinks for my friend's lizards by painting most of them turquoise, some snot green and one black and red (like those little aquarium critters). The saurii got darker forms of the schemes used for the skinks with some colors inverted. The skinks were mottled in a darker shade on their backs (much to resemble the bass), while their larger kin had scales in a lighter shade or a different shade.
I painted mine blueish grey. If you keep the colours of the armour pads and scales the same colour there'll still be a sense of uniformity in the team.
