ok, you check the rules, Rerolls and team positions... and i use my time for building walls  ... last one build and will be painted tonight. Than i start blocking windows...

Norse, about my question of blocking a player into the wall... i post here your answer you pmed me. Maybe some others got the same question.
I will clarify when I do the next update... what it will be like when I update the rules is:

basically, there is no crowd, so the player has no where to go... but he must be blocked in such a way that he would leave the pitch in a normal game of BB (i.e. from the side.. if a player by a wall is blocked by a player straight in front of him, there is no bonus for the wall because he does not hit the wall)

if he is only pushed back, then leave him standing, but make an armour roll and add +1 to armour (wall).. if armour penetrated then place face down in square as normal, if not penetrated then leave player standing

if he is pushed back and knocked over then place on his back and add +2 to armour (cobbles and wall)

stand firm and sidestep are good ways of avoiding this, makes frenzy very useful though on such a narrow pitch...

because the player does not go anywhere (he is knocked over in the square he was already occupying) there is no opportunity to follow up...
Seems quite clear to me..

Considering my luck on tournaments lately I was thinking about showing up with a completely unwinnable team, so that this time I could complain about my setup instead of my luck with the dice...

OK guys,

StreetBowl V2 is now available as a pdf and as soon as niels or l_dauget can get it on their web-site it will be downloadable...

Why should you accept this free upgrade to SB 2.0 ??

1) Typos have been fixed...

2) "Fluff" mistakes have been tidied up (thanks to Yavatol and Darkson for being picky gitz! ;) )

3) New "Blocking a player into a wall" rules are included.. :D (yes Trav, just for you!)

4) Downloadable pitches!! Not just 1, but 2!! Spot the difference!

http://niels.xs4all.nl/streetbowl.alt.jpg

Is this the final version of StreetBowl I hear you cry??

No.... also for possible inclusion in SB V3.0 will be...

1) Rules on FF and winnings... until further specified just use LRB rules

2) Some cool "Did you Knows"... 8)

3) Other tweaks as necessary (possible changes to fouling rules and/or passing the ball off the wall if playtesting shows any issues)

4) Downloadable dug-outs and magic potion markers!

5) Photos of Trav's pitch being used at the Dutch Open by drunken idiots!

If you can't wait 2 days for the new version then drop me a PM with your e-mail addy, otherwise prepare to download...

StreetBowl... Instant Mayhem.... just add alcohol... :)

as long my pitch survived ... if not... , well, on very rare situations i can be quite nasty
BTW... i will bring a 0.9 version of the pitch, too. Not really all included !

Are the downloadable pitches still around anywhere?

Our league has decided to run a street bowl league along side our Bloodbowl league, thought I would share a few ideas we were kicking around.

Thought it would be cool if on 'Scramble' the bag of cash was like the ball (passing handing off etc.) and the team that had it at the end of the drive got the money rather then the first team to get to it.

Also were thinking of sitting down to figure out a recruitment system for gaining new players rather then using the winnings. I was thinking starting with the Beach Bowl idea but make the list of modifiers longer.
But then that would present the problem of what to do with the Scramble money and how to buy rerolls. So maybe this won't work. Perhaps a lower winnings table would be better.

Are you guys still planing a follow up to the game?
