How would you have made this wight.

Post by Khaine »

I have a 4 str block regen pro tackle Wight. I use him as a safety most of the time or as a way to hunt annoying players like 1 turn scorers and DP/PO. If I had it to do over I think I would have taken a skill besides PRO.

Sure Hands would probably have been my choice.

As a safety Strip Ball or Pass Block would be nice...

Do you play against a lot of passing teams in your league?

This is my undead in Fumbbl. I built them mainly to combat elven/skaven running games with almost every second skill being tackle. Which you might think this would hinder them it is actually helping them out. I'm going to cry when undead go the way of the dino and I have to lose my 2 mv piling mummy :) rofl.

I try to give my Wights Tackle and Strip Ball. Combined with ST 4 they can attack ball carriers without any assists. I had 2 of them (now only 1 left) and it's a great defence.

I'd like to think I'd have gone Strip Ball, though I expect I'd have taken Sure Hands.

strip ball...shadowing...pass block...any of these are better than pro any day...IMHO pro is a very limited skill. It's anly a desperation thing, and only became really important with the introduction of big guys

Strip Ball if you play him offensive blocking enemy ball carriers, Sure Hands if you play him as a ball carrier.

Pro isn't that bad

Chance of putting defender down with a 2 Dice Block

Code: Select all

                  Defender Skills
Attacker None Block Dodge Block/Dodge
None 56% 56% 31% 31%
Block 75% 56% 56% 31%
Pro 68% 68% 41% 41%
Block/Pro 84% 68% 68% 41%
So he's about a fifth better at putting down blodgers than without it. Very useful if they aren't the ball carrier.

think pro pretty good.
Pro isn't that bad
very general use for any situation. the wight is your best overall blitzing player so pro means combo use. How else can he reroll dodge throw all manner of weird events? If another player had stripball I would stick too pro, but if no strip on team then somebody needs it. Surehands not sure, better squad use of ghouls to be ball players; wights defensive all-rounder
