Thanks for this Galak, a great help..

my other question would be: who was the sculptor??

my real problem was not the casting (or maybe it would have been but I didn't know that!).. I approached 3 different well known sculptors and all of them got scared off by GW legal...

I'll start saving up for my own "Norse" model... a half-Dwarf/half Norse in a kilt...

what was that you said on another thread about an eye test?

as for your mini you could always ask del to do it ;]

Might be willing to send you two if you sent me one back painted ... but I'd want it back within 4 months ... ... don't like waiting forever.

I uhmm... *thinks* I have the team that won the most touchdowns scored at the Far Albion Cup (GW sponsored BB tourney in Scotland) :) But somehow, I doubt you'd want one of them ;) (Got a new Griff as well).

Bah! I like that mini you casted, guess I'll sulk a lot then and wish I could get a rez Gutter at the same time. :)

Mind you, I was wondering what the deal on recasting one OOP mini for personal use would cost. I was thinking about recasting a 1st edition Skaven for my Skaven team linemen, though I'm sure that isn't leagal.

You'll need a friend to get this done. No reputable caster I know of would knowing recast a copyrighted mini.

Yeah, figured as much :) I remember you used to be able to buy casting sets a while back to cast minis. No idea what happened to them, and don't trust myself with my only 1st edition Skaven :) (who's still in the mail)

Oh yeah. Norse is top shelf. We've traded, sold, and I've had him paint for me as well. I've never had to wait on a payment or mini and his turnaround on the Troll 3 was quick as well. That's how much I trust him. I sent him a Troll 3 in the hopes that he'd paint it and send it back. He's all aces in my book.

Still not so sure what it means over there but, over here, the top shelf is reserved for best of the best. All the expensive liquor is on the top shelf, for example.
