The name is a cute play on skeletons with instruments. You clearly like the group. I don't care for them so I won't say what originally came to mind.
The set I bought didn't come in a blister and it had everything you listed except the keyboard. It was an old set that came in a box with the minis wrapped in tissue. Old stuff. Incidentally, they were made by Citadel way back when...

Snotsgrots: Did they look the part? I mean, are yours just Skeletons or do they have beards, long hair, etc?
The Dead only had one video release in their active time, Touch of Grey in 1984, the video included footage of the band as Skeletons on stage, with beards, bandanas &c to distinguish them from each other.
If the boxed set skellies DO look like the actual dead, would you consider parting with them? For a price?
