I'm compiling a list of the online BB tools for my league, aside from SkiJunkie's Java Client, TCP/IP BB, Avi Stetto's IRC client and the PBEM tool, are there any others out there?

Hi there guys ..

I would say one of the best toold out there is this Excel 4th Edition Team Generator from http://www.chez.com/bbtg/

Has some minor changes to be done to the excel sheet after generating teams, but works ok on letting you chose allies, star players, and staff for your team ..

best regards.

Actually I'm just after programs to allow you to play over the net, but that's a good suggestion.

Actually I contributed slightly to that, suggested the total SPPs and SPPs/5 that we added to the Excel rosters we use in our league, makes transfer/corrections to handwritten rosters lots easier.

You need to go to this site:

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/jre/download-windows.html

download the JRE and install it. Then you should have java.exe.

I know the frenzy works a little wrong but it was easier to code it that way. Frenzy stops if you roll a Skull/Pow and both players have block.

I don't understand about the push off problem. But, there was a problem with push offs that got fixed in the 2.02 patch. Did you get the 2.02 patch?

The patch is on the same download page as the original game download.

http://www.geocities.com/javabbowl/

The patch to fix push-offs is the 2.02 patch.

Download the "patch2_02.zip". Unzip the contents to the original install directory. It will overwrite the "bbowl.jar" and "readme.txt" files.

That should fix all the push off problems.
