70k to spend for a.... lets say unusual Undead-Team

At FUMBBL, I have started a nice little experiment... a UD team designed for a very long term of playing.
My starting Cockerel was:
9 Zombies
2 Skels (I needed somthing fast)
9 FF
8 RR
20k gold spare

I knew I was going to loose the first game, but I got mashed really bad (2 SI and DEAD, all regen failed). But the winnings of 80k gave me a mummy. The second game I won surprisingly 2-1, playing the good old dwarf-style (just a little bit slower

), getting the 10player chaos team down to 6 player by halftime (scoring for 1-1 at turn

and grinding down to the final TD at turn 8 again (with the opponent only having 4 players on the pitch, running away from my mummy).
The mummy got block and I got 70k.
Now I wonder, what to buy. I get a ghoul for 70k, wich would be the best in terms of AG (my highest AG at the moment is 2) and in terms of speed (my fastest player is the skelly with MA 5). But he will be the main target, so he will be either the only scorer around and/or dead before he can do anything.
What do you think.. get a ghoul now, or save for a wight or mummy?

No problem.. the zombie was cheap and I didn´t miss the other two in my game today very much

Unless I'm mistaken you've only got 11 players at the moment? I'd be tempted by another skeleton (just to give a little more depth) and then save the rest towards the 2nd mummy or a wight.

I'd say save it! Just go through your next game and buy a mummy or a wight next.

Your starting Cockerel is finaly a nice idea! I manipulated a little bit and ended up with 5 Rerolls, FF 9, 2 Mummys, 1 Whight, 2 Skelles and 7 Zombies. I think I will use this team when our league restarts! This will be awsome!

i think you're going to find its VERY difficult to move the ball. having only the 2 mummies to form a cage w/ isnt going to help you run, and you have absolutely NO ONE to throw it to, short range passing DOES work w/ undead. although the 5 rrs will help, i doubt you'll be doing much scoring, and its not likely you really have enough power to do much bashing either.

i'd seriously consider trying:

2 mummies
4 wights
5 zombies (+ma is NOT worth the -av, esp w/ ag2)
3 rrs
8 ff

then all you have to worry about is buying ghouls, which i never use anyway.
