Leauge Challenge Cup
Here's a little house rule we use in our leauge. We play a challenge cup for owr leauge championship. The only way this affects teams is the Bandwagon hoppers which gives a + 3 d6 to the gate ONLY when the Champs are playing. The cup itself is played for much like a heavy weight boxing belt with out the contenders so anyone can play for the cup at anytime. The cup must be defended every three weeks at least to prevent a coach holding on to the cup without giving anyone a chance to play for it. From a leauge point of veiw this gives Coaches a chance to play a big game every once in a while outside the major tounaments. Like I said though it really is only for bragging rights and after about 10 Championship games we have had 5 or 6 different champs, also it seems to be insipring the top teams in the leauge to play on another more often, as commish I'm hoping this leads to more attrition. Nice, I like that idea for a league like ours where fixing a schedule is impossible and even organising a cup can prove a problem.

The short answer is "no", but it is a qualified "no" because there are odd ways of interpreting the question which could justify the answer "yes".
