Almost everyone there is here, so nothing really. I think Galak included their votes already.

From the people that brought you the LRB... BBRC.

I think your fears on unfounded, but I have a bit more information on how the BBRC works than you do. You only have your conjecture.

And I have never said you didn't have anything to do with it.
What I said is that it seems silly to even bother testing these rules when there are other things we'd like to see done.
I guess you'd have to talk to that particular BBRC member about testing these rules. I didn't have anything to do with it.

On the other hand, if you have something you do wanted tested then I'm all ears, particularly if you volunteer to test them first.
Get off this trip that I hate you and the BBRc because it's crap.
When you stop acting that way, so will I. :)

Okay guys ... Ronald once called me the ultimate fanatic ... I cannot rest when I'm on a research quest.

I went through the entire French poll thread at:
http://www.francebloodbowl.com/forum?Id ... 4&noPage=0

Louis reported 52 votes ... I only count 46 unique IDs on the entire thread.
Ancient Maya Lizard, Aredhel, Arkhandzar, Ash[padaprohete], Asrul, Azdruyel, Battleaxe, BENEDICK, Bobite(GBBL.net), Coach Vahid, Colonel_Hathi, Eugene Bugman (fils), Fix, Fred, Fredol, Gérald[1-6], GiGi, Longshot, JABA, JC, Jean Jaurès, Kermit [Calva], Kigloo[Pada-Ninja],
Kool[padaquisiteur], Lokhast, [LOQ] Kumulo, Louis X, Mahodo, Mistery,
muad dib, [no-clan]AlexDeland, Paskriley, Ploplo, Ptitgri, ptitjaune,
ramstatlon, sebco, Shooz, Shura331, Skurvy, Soleil, Syllemediateur,
Thiophene, tno, Vatrop, Worchar De Jamir, ZeBoss

Now SEVERAL of these posters didn't even vote on the discussion topic as far as I can see. So I really need one of you folks who speak French to tell me if the 52 votes that Louis reported match up here?

Sorry ... look ... I get real annoyed by comments that this French poll reported by Louis prove that TBB and FUMBBL don't represent the larger Blood Bowl world which I find complete and utter nonsense ... especially the FUMBBL one where they exceed 150+ votes on any given topic.

Okay so somebody tell me that Louis's numbers make sense based on the FranceBB discussion thread.

Of course there is a possibility that he was PM'ed or emailed answers to the poll...

Sorry, but most of french dont even know the rules as they should...
Most of this community of FBB is only playing online with online rules....
Most of them are freaks to loose a player or being injured (so they created a hospital in their house rules)
So i am sad to see so many vote on yes for #2...

Galak, do you have all the log? cos i dont see my post in your website...

Ya know, I was going to keep this only in PM but the more I think about it the more I realize that this needs to be public.
I refuse to allow you to make this out to be some bad attitude trip that I am on about the BBRC. As if I have some vendetta against you.
I have never attacked the BBRC for anything it did. I have supported the LRB 2.0 and I have thanked you all publically several times for doing such a great and putting your hard work into it.
I have spoken out in opposition to certain desicions and rules but I was under the impression that was what you wanted to hear. If not, then why ask us at all?
THE ONLY TIME I have problems with you or Chet is when I disagree with your rules or suggestions. Suddenly when I don't agree I am attacking you.
I used your Weather & Stadium rules in my league for 2 seasons, I sent an email to you telling you this and detailing what we thought and how they could be changed. As usual you ignored it. I also put together a new Weather table with Liviath some time ago and you and Chet, as usual, ignored it. I have done as you asked. If you chose to ignore me then that is your problem. It's certainly has nothing to with the majority of posters on this site disliking the idea of a major change to the game.
Let's talk about Blood Bowl and not your problems with me. I am not here by myself attack to you for anything, yet you seem to have personal problem with me expressing my opinion. The vast majority of the TBB page is here, countering your arguments at every turn and yet you say it's something I am am doing. That I am somehow "acting that way". Bullcrap.

Answer the data and questions that they are raising, or don't, but quit trying to cop by turning this into some sort of lame "Dark Lord is misbehaving again!" distraction.

sometimes the (perceived) tone of your statements can seem overly aggressive though DL (TTT ;)). BB is something we're all fanatical about and it's hard not to get worked up by it... try counting to 10 before posting, and if that fails try 20 ;)

I've mailed neo a few times and not got replies before (once or twice at most), as well as many other people on this board so we're all guilty. *Everyone has times when people contact them and they don't reply*

It doesn't bother me - I know how many emails I get a day about stuff and I know that I flag some for responses and never get round to it. The real world has that effect... people who consider it a personal insult need to go for a walk or something

Your points are valid, but the manner of delivery sometimes leaves a little to be desired IMO, it's far too easy to misinterpret text conversations so careful writing is needed... :)

And where did I do that in this thread to cause Neo to get up in arms?

No, like I said, this isn;t about, how others perceive me. I'm sorry my choice of words are taken as aggressive but it's usually a matter of proper grammar and not aggression.

At any rate, I'm not here to defend my "tone" since there is nothing to defend. I did not attack Neo or the BBRC in this thread. It's merely a distraction ploy because he can't answer the real issues.

That's my question ... I tried reading through the discussion forum and I definitely cannot find 30 votes saying yes for #2. I found several that said it was a ridiciqulous idea ... but I couldn't find more than 2 that said yes. So were there really 30 yes votes.
Galak, do you have all the log? cos i dont see my post in your website...

I forced all those folks to vote in the TBB forum and didn't count their votes otherwise. A discussion like this needs to have backing from the physical data since its not a forum collected poll.

All i've tried to do was to get some more opinions and i thought that FBB was the best place since you have around 3000 coachs there.

First, i post a thread telling of the GW rules to let people know.

http://www.francebloodbowl.com/forum.php?Id=203241

It got 126 answers. People discussed the good/the bad of those.

THEN, i asked people to vote with a special warning that they had to understand the rules in english, know the official rules and basically have something pertinent to say before voting.

http://www.francebloodbowl.com/forum.php?Id=220836

64 answers. I didn't count Longshot who had already voted and i didnt vote either.

I counted 52 votes when i wrote down the results.

Have i counted people twice? I'm pretty sure i didn't but i'm sorry if i did. Some guys voted after i counted as well.

BUT, my aim wasn't to show that some people were wrong or right. I just tried to give some representation of the french by gathering a large number of votes.

I tried to do it seriously but after i can't take the votes i like and leave the others. Once the votes were given, i had to transmit them.

I don' think that although those votes aren't in the majority, there're just a small fraction of the overall. That's the way they should be taken i think.

Wait a minute, we're not talking of the same FBB thread i think.

But, yes, i was very surprised as well by the difference between the discussion and the result of the votes.

ARGH!!!!!!!

l_dauguet ... no its all okay. Neo, I'm not sure what the French poll show to be honest now. The poll itself has no discussion on it at all, but shows a lot of Yes votes for things like the no-injury mods. However, the discussion thread show very very little support of it. I agree with l_dauguet ... the difference is weird ... and yes Louis this is what I was banging my head against last night. The discussion thread clearly shows that the folks willing to talk about it did not favor No Injury mods ... so who are these folks who voted yes for no injury mods ... don't know. Could be what Longshot said about the French league being a bunch of pansies for injuries, but I'm relucant to agree with Longshot without seeing discussion.

So Neo ... so much for our French friends showing us the light. The text of their debate was very much anti-No injury mods. The poll ... well the poll has no debate with it ... so who knows what the heck the yes votes thought they saw.

By the way ... I'll put my money on the folks who take the time to type things everyday ... so I'm more swayed by the French discussion thread than I am to the poll. Oh well.

Also ... did I miss it in the discussion thread ... but where was there anyone who said in the discussion thread that the higher SPP table was a good idea? The voting is just so weird compared to the discussion thread.

Also l_dauguet ... sorry ... my french being what it is ... I didn't see the other thread with the polling results ... I just saw the discussion thread and could not figure out where the results you posted came from ... thanks for setting me straight ... now if you could just explain how the discussion can be on one side and the voting the other ... I'll be happy ...
