My most hated player was a Skaven Gutter Runner who, (in the old days of 3rd ed) if I recall correctly, had Razor Sharp Claws, Dirty Player, ST4, Block, Dodge and Leader.
Oh I tried to kill him .. but he always survived and decimated my teams.
Thankfully a thing of the past.

I must admit, it's been a painfully long time since I last managed a good, clean game of BB, but a few memories still stick in the mind...
The player I hate the most is the BB version of Morg'n'Thorg - Where it was printed that he could play for ANY team. EVERYONE had him in their team, same name, same paint job, the lot.
There were 5 teams and players I met up with regularly: Dark Elves, Orcs, Humans, Halflings and High Elves - 4 of them had this accursed Ogre, and the 5th had a treeman - what did I have to counter these mass-produced monsters?
A couple of Skaven Stormvermin....
Losing 3 players in 2 matches tends to irritate, certainly, but then losing 3 players in ONE match got me mad. Enter one Rat Ogre later and devious use of the "Magic Helmet" card later....
.....earned me a dead Rat Ogre.
Oh well....
However, I intend to start playing again soon, and I have high hopes for my newest invention to quickly become a pet hate of my opponents:
DeathMaster Snikch himself!
Skaven Assassin: 9/3/4/8
Dodge, Shadow, Pro
SPECIAL: POISONED DAGGER, BANDS OF STRENGTH*
* Bands of Strength: In the Warhammer game, Snikch gets to use these to add huge amounts to his strength when attacking big nasty monsters. In BB, I use them to get an extra Block die no matter who he attacks: So he gets 2 for attacking Equal/stronger STR players, and up to 4 for attacking weakling snotlings and things
Cost: 160K
So I'll have to sacrifice my rerolls - A price I'd willingly pay to use such a great model with so much potential (Don't get me started on my idea for Skaven Bombardiers using Poison Wind Globes, and the Random Mutation rules involved!
)

Re: Most hated player
Pretty much any type of dwarf that one of the guys from our league might choose to field...hic luck (which IS abnormal!) combined with their stats and skills normally means that you're in for a very, VERY frustrating game.Torg wrote:I usually never check out this forum, mainly just guys bragging about their obsenely skill star player (IMO), so I wanted to post something different.
I wanted to know what was the most hated player you've ever played against (race, position, stats, etc)?
