or Jump up or Dauntless. Those are about the only 3 i can think of that would be worth a double on him.

Dauntless, dauntless or maybe dauntless?

Well if you've already got a couple of dauntless on the team you'll probably want Jump Up or Guard (that really depends on whether you see them as blitzers or bashers - because you are developing the LW's into the blitzers).

the team:

9 lineelves, 2x+1AG, Dodge, Kick, 1x+1ST
3 Lion Warriors, PB, NoS+Dodge, AG5+Leap
2 Dwarriors, no skills (apart from the double)

there are not that many high ST players in our league ... and I like MB, that's why. He won't be a scorer type, so no Jump Up / NoS

I guess from wanting MB you are intending to give him tackle next and turn him into a "receiver hunter". Not a bad idea, but I think there are better uses for him.

Guard is much more useful than MB if you intend him to sit on the LOS.

Jump Up is a blitzer's skill - not so much a catchers skill. The ability to block even when prone is very useful.

IMO even without a strength heavy league you still need something more than one S4 player. A single Chaos or Undead team could cause lots of problems.

My vote goes to guard.

I think every team benefits from one or two guard players. In case of elf and skaven teams, the ability to easily punch holes on offense wherever you want is a winner. And on defense it's not too shabby either.

I agree on the guard, but not for a blitzer ... only two of them around ... first choice for a lino

I was indeed aiming for the MB, Tackle etc route.

If you really want him to be a backfield hunter, give 'em Piling On. Hit the little speedy guys, then make sure they don't get up.

Dauntless or Jump Up are the only skills I would give him. Mighty Blow? Maybe but I would rather develop 2 of the Catchers to backfield defenders...

If this was my player I think I would go for the MB, as he then would start to cover a weakness as far as I see it for HE, and that is the unlikey nature of the team on a whole to remove opponents from the field of play. Like an Ork blitzer with ag 4 he could easily go on to be your real MVP.S.
