Ha ha, mt GR has gotten +1 S twice now on his skill rolls. I'm pretty new to this game, but that seems damn good to me! 8)

yes it is very impressive. bad news is now he has no block and will not live long. to get the most use out of him, you'll be using his speed and strength to make unassisted blocks downfield.

well, that's cool, except he has no block, so that could fail, and even if not, then on your opponent's turn he's out there with no support. The first guy to come along with tackle and mighty blow will end your fun real quick.

Get him block and side step. On doubles get him either Foul Appearance or Spikes. Anything that makes him live longer.

Cool, next time he gets a skill I will start giving him stuff to help him live. I thought about Spikes when they came around this time, but S4 was just to good to resist. So Block and Side Step, or Spikes and Foul Appearance if I get doubles. Which would you say to go w/first on each?

I'd say Block & Foul Appearance.

The 1/6 chance of not being blocked as about as good as the extra point of armour (apart from when he falls on his tail going for it)- and on top of which is very good to use him as pass protection.

Thats the perfect guy to stick around a Rat Ogre to reduce opponents assists.

Don't matter now, the very next game I played after posting that he died. Used the APO and he FAILED, then later my other GR was killed by a Skink. Two deaths in one match, plus an SI and two BH's. I guess that's what I get for bragging.

No that's what you get for playing Skaven

Last two games I lost a Strormvermin, Thrower and Lineman, got a Niggle on my other Thrower and a -1 AG on my other Stormvermin. :( Apoth failed both times.

In other words I sympathise.

Hey, life's a b*t*h!!!

I had a human blitzer with strength 4 and agility 4, he had block and dodge and strip ball.

Then the g*t went and got killed by a bunch of skaven (who incidently I had killed and injured 8 of their players)

So sometimes skaven get their luck.
damn.......
